Brigstock Pharmacy - Alphega Pharmacy

Receptionists think they know it all. They refuse you to see or talk to the doctor. At first I thought the idea of a receptionist taking your details and later the doctor calling you was great but a few times the receptionist told me no the doctor wont call me for that. a few times i had to lie for the reason of my cal and when the doctor calls me it turns out living was the best decision as i get the solution when the doctor calls me. Yesterday the receptionist told me I should find another surgery coz i was not happy when she said thetes no more call backs left. i think They need to be trained. It's not right , who wants to discuss their illness with a receptionist anyway coz they are not medically trained

This is the pharmacy not GP next door. After 10 years of being on a lifelong prescription this Pharmacy were the first to tell me to get an excemption form from my GP. None of my GP's or previous pharmacists mentioned my entitlement before. I could have saved £1200 for the past 10 years and now will save that!!! Brilliant service.

Have always found the staff to be super efficient and helpful and have been getting my prescriptions here for many years. Can't understand any of the negative reviews. They also deliver at a cost of £5 which is very helpful.

I refuse to change them. They take their time. ​to know u as a customer/ patient.

I don't understand the low ratings

Absolutely worst experience with any pharmacy ever !

My son had aggravated chest infection and was very asthmatic. He was prescribed Steroids and puff for inhalation. When I called the pharmacy to confirm prescription is ready to collect they said it is ready. When I arrived at the pharmacy they said steroids is out of stock (main medicine) which is fine. I said it's fine please print out the prescription for me so that I can get it from other pharmacy. It was 6 p.m. and they were about to close at 6:30. When I went to other pharmacy they told me that they cannot issue the medication on this print out as it is just a token and Brigstock pharmacy did not release the medication from the system. Imagine my son with a asthmatic condition and I had to face this answer just because of the negligence or ignorance of the pharmacist at Brigstock pharmacy. I could not contact them back as they had closed already. I travelled to 4 pharmacies for 2 hours and finally one pharmacy was kind enough to issue me the medication purely because of the condition of child and they said they will call the Brigstock pharmacy in the morning and sort this out. Bless that pharmacist !

This phamacy is so strict they don't care if they dealing with human life. You call for repeat prescription they put their phone on busy for hours then put back an an hour b4 closing . Terrible behaviour and their body language Is hawful.

Brigstock Pharmacy staff especially the man at the front are the most unhelpful bunch of people I have ever met. They have no heart and staff there should not be in caring positions like the health service. The woman today was very unhelpful. I asked her if she could put my 93yr old moms tablets in a dosette box for her so she doesn't have to count them out every day. They told me that they charge £1 a tray because the government doesn't pay for it. I will be looking for a new one now.

I like to thank the pharmacy for helping sort out my wife prescription that was mistakenly sent to another pharmacy in Bristol. Great team , very polite and helpful. Thank you so much
