I have used the Hinchley Wood Pharmacy for some time. I have always found the staff to be helpful and polite. I was somewhat surprised to read the recent critical reviews which have been posted as that has not been my experience when using the Pharmacy. The Pharmacists have always been very helpful when I have sought advice, which has usually avoided the need to consult my GP. The counter staff are always helpful in locating products and if they are not sure if a product is appropriate they will always check with the Pharmacists. Overall I think the Pharmacists and staff provide a very good service and that the service they provide is of great benefit to the local community.

Can't praise this Pharmacy enough! They were kind and helpful to my Mother, delivering her medication regularly and on time and other necessaries as required. The staff were responsive and courteous whenever there was a change in medication. Thank you so much. You are a valuable resource for Hinchley Wood and long may you continue to be there!!

Steph, who was doing covid vaccines was fabulous! I have a real fear of needles, and she was super quick, and made me feel relaxed.
Was fantastic with my younger daughters to. Will be going back for boosters with Steph again

Friendly and helpful staff, and that’s why I kept coming back and thought it’s nice to support the local pharmacy even though some things are a bit more pricy than online shops. But now I started thinking about moving to the online pharmacy as I think their stock management is not really good at all. I had quite a few experiences before like they didn’t have specific items on my prescription and they didn’t come for a long time even though they said they placed an order to the whole seller. Ok, maybe it’s Covid. This time they didn’t have one item again for my son and told me they would definitely get it by noon on the following day, but they didn’t have it and blamed their whole seller. Sadly we need that item today as my son is going abroad from tomorrow morning. I wish their stock management was a bit better.

P.s. My son has just come back from the chemist with the missing items at hand! Apparently they had the item but they couldn’t find it… Not sure if it’s a good sign or not…

Great service today. Took a chance and walked in for the seasonal flu jab. In and out very quickly. Friendly and efficient service.

Very good customer service. All staff are helpful. I manage a Retirement Development and Wallis Jones have a wonderful lady called Jan who delivers prescriptions to residents. She's always courteous, respectful, with a compassionate heart; often going out of her way to ensure residents have their prescriptions. We all love Jan. She's an asset to Wallis Jones! 🙂

Usually it is possible to find something good about a business, that has on the whole, left you feeling a little put out. A little less than satisfied. Price is often a contentious issue. Some places will, of course charge you the maximum possible. Within reason, given how expensive life is, we accept it. That’s life. However, there are really few venues in life that make you genuinely feel turned over. If we suddenly feel incompetent, because we got ripped off and we didn’t notice, by a shop, a pharmacist, that foolishly we trusted, fortunately that’s quite rare. This one will smile at you as they take a prescription charge on a £2.50 item. Be amazed when you question why the non branded item is more than the branded. (I saw today that an item in Boots was £1.99 but they charged £5.00. When questioned they lied and said the supplier set the price. Boots revealed this was a lie. Nasty. ) And clearly revel in your stupidity, your ignorance at the way they can fleece you with a cold, professional indifference. If you are relatively positive, perhaps not really streetwise, maybe an honest person, don’t use this pharmacy. Trust me when I say, I’m probably quite streetwise. These guys outfoxed me. My only hope is they won’t fool you!
