Felt very sorry for the one person on the counter that seemed to know her job. Wait times are absolutely appalling, I waited 50 minutes for an electronic prescription i was told would be ready on arrival. Staff behind the back were loud and rude and obviously don't care about anyone or anything, just laughing away and joking whilst there is an entire pharmacy packed with people waiting. Will get my electronic scripts sent somewhere else from now on. Quite frankly I'd probably be quicker driving to a pharmacy in Norfolk than waiting here.

Felt sorry for the ONE counter assistant who was trying to do everything and no- one at the back offering to help. Regular prescriptions had gone direct from doctor next door on Monday but still not ready on Friday. IF there is a manager at this place they need to get get it sorted out or get out. If, as they say, prescriptions are having to be “out-sourced” due to volume then employ more staff or ensure that your staff are effectively used when the counter is busy otherwise you will lose a lot of business. I wasted half an hour before walking out in disgust.

Despite the reviews that have been left and I totally understand and agree that at times it has been a nightmare and under the current Covid 19 situation it’s been more stressful for pharmacy staff. I have just been in served by a young man called ‘Josh’ and he is a breath of fresh air to the pharmacy, I was greeted on entry and he apologised whilst he was filling the shelf, he was very polite and listened carefully to my request and was seen in a timely manner. Another gentleman came in and was greeted the same way in a pleasant manner, due to only 2 people allowed in the shop at a time, a lady entered and he asked politely to wait outside but he also took the initiative and served her from the door. Now from working I’m a pharmacy myself and not this company but an independent company, Josh showed exactly how customer service should be done. A credit to the Pharmacy and also the pharmacist who assisted myself too was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Thank you both

My family of five had to leave this chemist as they were absolutely the most appalling chemist I have EVER used for 3 reasons.

First, the wait times are an absolute disgrace... I waited TWICE for over 45 minutes for two different repeat prescriptions for which I was sent text message notification to come collect, only to find out after waiting for 45 minutes that the prescription was NOT there, but could be ready for the following day.

Secondly, their disorganisation is maddening. So, they looked at me like I was crazy for being there to collect our repeats despite being able to demonstrate via TEXT messages from them saying they were ready to collect. The second time the exact same thing happened, and so I wrote to my GP surgery and MOVED our entire family's repeats to another competing chemist (Boots).

Third and finally, despite the building being fairly new and modern, the interior of the Well+ is always dingy, dirty and poorly lit. Its just obscenely run... I dont know if it is just this chemist or if all Well+ chemists are like this, but I'll never complain or leave Boots chemists again! However grumpy the Boots chemists can be at *some* locations, they're minimally professional and you leave with your prescriptions in hand when they say they're ready to collect!

Never had the full course of medicine. Reviews don't lie, it's a really poorly run pharmacy. Will go back to boots.

This is a new chemist for me as I moved into the area in December 2021.
The staff are always extremely polite and very helpful with any questions or issues I have.
The phone does get quite busy at times but the staff always try their best to answer.
Waiting times can sometimes feel longer than they actually are, it just depends on how busy the doctors is to how busy the chemist will be.
I have had only one problem regarding my perscription which the staff was quick to resolve for me.
I really like what I call the 'slip system', if they haven't got a particular item for you eg meds, they will give you a slip of paper with a print out of what they owe you and how much, it's really good as I lose track of a lot of things, so I just stick it to my fridge so then I'm reminded every time I go in the kitchen.
Thank you to everyone at well pharmacy for all your help and services throughout a tough few years, it is much appreciated 😊

Very frustrated - paid £320 to book covid PCR tests here, called last week to change my appointment and had a confirmation email. My partner received a cancellation email, but I didn’t, and had no other contact, so called to confirm today to be told the pharmacist contacted us both via phone and email to cancel our appointment and we’d been refunded. No missed calls, no voicemails, and only one of us got a cancellation email when the other one still had an ‘appointment confirmed’ email. Completely confusing and mixed messages. Only positive is that we have actually been refunded, but otherwise shocking service, and now frantically having to re-book elsewhere to be able to go on our honeymoon.
