Staff can be friendly, but they are extremely slow. The past year, I have not had one prescription ready as needed. My last repeat took 19 days to be ready. Ordered it 9 days before running out knowing they are slow and take more than the 48 hours promised. I called 7 days later and they said they needed to look for the prescription (as told after the first time I had called). I got there, waited 25 minutes at 9:45 and was told to come back in two days. Good, that would be the 9 days expected. But went in the day after. 10 days. But medicine not ready. Then, was told to come back, but had to travel abroad for business. Came back 7 days later. Same story on day 17. Finally got it on day 19. That was the worst! Have a few more stories like that, though never as bad as that, although a few days delayed even when I call and am told it is READY. They seem completely overwhelmed. I am understanding, but the lows get lower. Need to find another pharmacy, but it seems like the system is broken. And I know. As a health professional, I dare say that Boots leaves MUCH MORE to be desired.

Extremely slow, ask your Dr. to use different pharmacy. I was waiting 68 minutes and they served 5 people. Ridiculous! Please investigate or train staff properly.

Absolutely shocking waiting time and pretty unpleasant and very unhelpful staff.
I ended up waiting for 40 minutes outside in the rain with my sick 6 year old, as they only let 2 people in at a time. They seemed more busy stroking the dog a customer inside had brought in, than dealing with their work. When we finally got in, I was told my prescription was "detained" by another Boots pharmacy (I had told them they were my 3rd try in Woking, as the medicine was out of stock in the other 2 pharmacies). They then told me I had to go back to the other pharmacies and ask them to release the prescription! I had just told them we had walked to the other 2 pharmacies before - again I had a young sick child in tow. I then had to insist they call their colleagues in the other pharmacies, as they should be able to ask for that prescription to be "released", instead of me dragging back my daughter to the other pharmacies on foot (not knowing which one was blocking that prescription) then back again for a long wait.
We waited another 20 minutes, thinking they were dealing with us. Then the lady again very unhelpfully told me the prescription was still not released. She'd been dealing with other customers in the meantime. I had to ask to please call the other pharmacy. Finally after another 15 minutes wait inside, we finally got half our prescription (they didn't have enough in stock, so lucky me I will have to go back and get the rest). In total, 1h15 to get medicine. Absolutely shocking and ridiculous!
As we were leaving, a lady got in after us and was told they had to close for lunch (apparently they were "under strict orders!"). The lady wasn't particularly pleased, as she had just been waiting 3/4 of an hour under the rain outside and her order should take litterally 5 minutes.
It's almost unbelievable to have such bad staff and so little a shop, when this pharmacy is situated right next to multiple surgeries and the walk in centre.
Boots seriously need to do something about this pharmacy, and give some training to their staff. The first thing you see when you walk in is a sign saying they would not tolerate rude or violent customers. They are rude themselves and I think a lot of people have had to control themselves like me, to stay polite with such unpleasant staff.

Appalling service, especially given that people rely on them for key medication. My prescription was 4 weeks late. I tried to phone various times No one picked up the phone. When I went there, had to queue 40min with my baby to only get half of my prescription. I was told that delays were due to them being understaffed for 5 weeks and delays from the manufacturer regarding the missing items. I contacted the manufacturer this week who confirmed that they have had no issues supplying the said items. I also contacted the other Boots in Woking shopping centre who confirmed they had plenty. So, basically I have been lied to. I will be transferring asap and would advise anyone to avoid at all cost.

Unacceptable. It took them over 3 weeks to process my prescription. I visited 4 times only to be faced with a queue of 5 to 10 people and at least a 30 to 45 minute wait. So I had to go back several times. This pharmacy seems to lack proper systems and controls. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Massive queues, and insufficient supplies available, so you have to return numerous times. Sometimes they spread the medication across various used containers. Not impressed

Absolutely shocking service go to pick up my child prescription for the 3rd time and still not got it in and get told to come back the next day. Then your waiting 45 minutes to get told they haven't got it. Find a different chemist I know I will be

New staff and it's so much better than how it was ran previously, efficient and friendly so I am happy to give 5 stars. If I completed the review last month it would of got a two star rating.
