Rowlands Pharmacy Towngate

For many years I have just handed in a prescription to the assistant and patiently waited for my meds, it seems now you have to also queue to just hand in the prescription and wait AGAIN for meds. Not very efficient. No wonder there's a long queue of people there. Go somewhere else who knows how to run a chemist.

Slower than other chemists it was a 30 min wait on Friday parking (also for surgery and clearly used by local residents) is bad too the 2 stars are because the lady who is usually at the front desk is friendly and helpful but it is so slow I avoid going here even though the surgery is attached

Rowlands is an absolutely fantastic chemist there are a number of chemist that of popped up in Leyland which are new ones but I have been with this chemist for such a long time and it's a case of better the devil you know that I'm very very friendly very helpful and very polite I would recommend anybody to go to this surgery for advice on health care to see GP or to seeing her as they're really really her first class thanks Dean

Even if you phone in advance before collecting medication they are still the slowest in issuing them ..
doctors issued prescriptions on a Wednesday but still not ready to collect till Friday pm ,,,, and there's always a long wait even when you get inside ,, staff seems friendly but that doesn't compensate for what seems to be a lack of organisation.

Lovely staff, always helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Best to avoid early mornings as that's usually when deliveries are received/shelves restocked etc. When I have been into the pharmacy I haven't had to wait that long.

Rowlands as a group, have decided to trespass me for asking why all my items weren't present! They took the descriptions of my focal seizures as a reason to do so! Disgusting, immoral and corrupt practices. Their security manager seems to think she's above the law and she doesn't need to follow legally required practices in investigation of complaints.....

How is describing my seizure a threatening experience?

Basically scum of the earth as a company go....

Repeated breaches of HRA 1998 and Equality Act 2010, plus a number of their staff have committed hate crimes against disabled persons.... tut tut

I’ve always found the staff very helpful and the service good. I avoid busy times so I have experienced slow service or the queues mentioned by other reviewers.

This pharmacy is great, been going for years, the staff are great very polite, cheerful and eager to help.
