Completely gone downhill since becoming independent. Lack of stock, high prices and while C19 was still rife, the pharmacist was in and out of shops, no mask, gloves or any protection.

This pharmacy is great !!!! The staff are lovely and kind and I can't believe others with bad reviews went to the same place.

Cannot understand the bad reviews - I have had nothing but excellent and kind service from everyone who works here! They have gone above and beyond to help me when I have had issues with prescriptions and I have no complaints at all. Absolutely fantastic - thankyou so much for restoring my faith in community pharmacists after so many bad experiences elsewhere.

The staff were very busy, but they very quick to help me, and resolve my query! I found them to be thoughtful and supportive of my situation, going out of there way for myself. Wouldn’t ever go anywhere else!

To start, I would struggle to even give this 'pharmacy' even 0.1 of a star!

I have had many an unfortunate visit to this pharmacy, and I can only imagine it should be used a training venue on how not to run a pharmacy - as this is the only thing it even remotely exceeds in doing well.

I had called a few days prior to check whether my prescription medicine will be in stock when needed, I was of course told yes it would be. However, when I tried to collect, I was simply told 'it hadn't turned up, go somewhere else'. Of course, things happen, but there was absolutely no assistance offered, where would be best? an apology? No. Just a simple 'Not my problem' - The pharmacist is incredibly rude and dismissive and lacks any customer facing skills.

Due to multiple visits always resulting in a rude encounter with the various staff, who seem to begrudge anyone asking for medicine (its a Pharmacy - who knew!), I requested the complaints process and who the owner of the branch was. I was told 'I am' by the pharmacist, however, upon questioning this, it turns out he isn't the owner - I wonder if the owner knows that the pharmacist is passing off as the owner and turning away customers?

Opening times are clearly advertised as closing at 6PM on a weekday, however, imagine my (non) surprise, when the doors were locked at 3PM, and the pharmacist, already in his comfy clothes, told me that they were 'closed for a bit' - a bit of what? What if someone else needed some urgent prescription medicine, would you just say 'sorry we were closed for a bit?'

Don't try and call this pharmacy, as they will just hang up on you and then leave the phone off the hook! Good trick, but not in the profession you're in.

I would suggest never going to this pharmacy, unless you have a glutton for punishment and would strongly advocate taking your business and money elsewhere, to one of the many much better stocked, friendly and compassionate pharmacies in the area. For my sins, I purely gave this branch many an opportunity to improve due to the location being so convenient.

Some of the staff here are lovely. However some seem to have their priorities very wrong. Every time I go to this pharmacy there is a customer looking miserable and bewildered because "the computer says no". Have some compassion pharmacy staff. Your customers are often ill or family carers, they need your support with dealing with administration difficulties or misunderstandings. Success surely comes from helping people with problems, not making your customers go away.

I have used this pharmacy for years as Lloyd's and now as the Felixstowe Rd pharmacy. The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly. I've used other pharmacies on the odd occasion and the experience is nothing in comparison. Keep up the great work your awesome.

My advice would be to use one of the many other Pharmacies in Ipswich. Is the guy even a pharmacist... dressed like he’s just come in from a night out! Bad and rude service
