Well Harlow - The Stow

They barely answer the phone and there's been times when I've waited in the pharmacy for them to tell me they're breaking up for lunch when they easily could have told me that while I was waiting. Most of the staff are nice, helpful and polite but there's one who's always kinda snide.

Having read some poor reviews of this Chemist I did wonder if I 'd been wise choosing them for my repeat prescriptions.
After phoning to confirm my prescription would be ready I was assured it would be.
Upon arrival all was indeed ready to go.
They even helped to make sure future prescriptions would be ready at the due date.
I found the Staff to be pleasant and efficient.
As it's right next door to the Medical Practice it could hardly be more convenient.

Every single time I have been to this pharmacy I get served by an middle aged asian lady with glasses who is extremely unprofessional. She’s not well mannered & doesn’t make any effort to help. The waiting times are ridiculous & just the whole atmosphere is uninviting. If I could give no star I would & it would be nice to treat customers with more care as mostly are poorly & don’t need that kind of attitude.

Text is recieved to say prescription is ready. But then on arrival its still to be made up and checked another 20 minutes, and this happen everytime. Usually dont have enough to compkete the presription so another trip has to be made. Missed drug out of bag. Have also been given the wrong item once.

Went in waiting for prescription that they had for four days oh yes it’s already this was after they opened up 20 minutes late making me late for work it’s a fact that the weather in there and the time on the door I said 8:30 they opened up 10 to 9 But the fact that they had my medication already I get home half the medication missing went back no it’s not missing still haven’t got a medication it’s ridiculous CQC And NHS complaints will be informed

Absolutely shocking pharmacy. They always seem to be understaffed & there is always a delay with prescriptions even if these have been submitted days prior. I've been in the pharmacy waiting for 15 minutes previously with an elderly lady in front of me and no one has even bothered to communicate why there is no one serving at the counter, I've had to specifically ask staff what is happening and why no one is communicating. The next time the GP asks to send my prescription to the pharmacy I will refuse and request elsewhere.

I can't remember the last time they've ever been able to give me my prescription. They never have anything in.

I get so stressed out by this pharmacy just lately been going to this pharmacy for years and never had all these problems. Can never get hold of them the phone either just rings and rings or they end the call I have meds that I need to take continuously every day not supposed to just stop them. Ordered a week ago and nothing and don't always get all on my prescription. Did not have these issued years ago. Maybe they should hire someone to answer the phone to customer queries that way customers get dealt with and get the answers they need without getting so stressed out. Please please get this sorted and start answering the phones I know I don't phone for the fun of it!!
