Boots Pharmacy

This pharmacy is an absolute joke. 25 minutes in the queue just to get to the counter, thats before waiting for the prescription to be dispensed. 4 members of staff working. When the prescriptions are ready, they call a persons name out and most of the time they aren't even there! Probably given up and gone home. I appreciate they have to serve a large user base but so do other chemists and they don't run a pathetic operation such as this one. Take a staff team building trip to Pickfords in the town centre, they will show you how to run a pharmacy correctly. Amateurs.

I give a star to the staff ,for Their sense of humour ? Always busy in here ' long waiting times! Even if it is empty ? They don't rush themselves? Notice they love talking to their friends who pop in , also when picking up my repeats ! They can never find it ?

Don't blame your customers for your blatant incompetence. The lady had obviously filled the prescription and left it on the desk and forgotten about it. DONT TELL ME it had been called when I was sat right next to the door you were calling the prescriptions from. It's amazing that I heard you call every other person including the gentleman after me..... then to blame me for it? Disgusting customer service!

On8th July I ordered my medication through system online a week before I needed it as normal son tried to collect it on sat16th July said it wasn't ready collect on Monday 18meds ran out on Sunday 17 Monday son told no meds requested Tues 19th I phoned was told to reorder said meds and get next day we'd no med Thurs no meds frid and sat no meds a whole week without meds now all medication a whole week out

The worst ever service I had! African lady( unfortunately do not know her name) should not been working with customers. She was rude and unhelpful.
I had online prescription for collecting and she refused to give it to me. Even i had on my phone customer service a gentleman from place where the prescription came from she refused to serve me. 20 minutes later I picked up my prescription with out any problems. This lady should not be giving opportunities to work and service boots customers.
Never will back again into this potential pharmacy

Incompetency at its best. For the past months, every single month the wrong make of tablets is ordered, when I am picking them up I need to appoint to them that the information about which medicine cant be taken is written on the prescription slip, however every single time, exactly the wrong ones are ordered and given to me. This also doubles the number of journeys I need to make to the pharmacy as when I am picking up the medicine is always wrong at the first time and they need to order the right one for next day so I need to come again. Absolutely useless. Luckily I am able to change the pharmacy which I will be doing now.

I tried calling the Pharmacy multiple times during the course of the day and no one bothered to answer. Went to pick up a prescription tonight. The lady helping customers is very rude and unfriendly. Was told they are not packing the prescriptions placed online, its done offsite and only due in tomorrow. I don't mind coming back when they are at least friendly and not so rude because my prescription is not ready. I will definitely be changing pharmacies for my next prescription. We all have our bads days but this should not be taken out on your customers. If you don't enjoy your job you should not be working with customers.

Prescription requested online, always ready when they say it will be. Open til 8pm again which means I can collect on my way home from work so no extra trip out. Great bit of banter with the guy dispensing!

Update : Only open until 6:30pm now, so not as convenient for me but their SMS notification when request is ready for collection is a good thing though.
