Berkhamsted Branch Post Office

I vistited this post office today and was stood in the queue astonished by the rudeness of the lady (in her 60s) behind the counter.

By the time I got to the counter I knew what I would be greeted by, or not as it happened. She was rude, unhelpful. Not a good advert for this post office.

I will not be visiting this post office again.

Rude and unhelpful. They did not accept my ebay return parcel as according to them it was oversized (wrong labelling), but they did not even check the size to confirm. The next day I went to another post office and it all went perfectly fine. Avoid this location.

I came in late, way too close to closing time, and I was trying to post a package without a proper label. Staff went out of their way to help get it ready, and the local postman waited for me to finish the parcel before leaving on his last collection. Sorry for being a pillock, thanks for the help :)

This Post Office has the friendliest and most helpful staff of all the Post Offices I've ever been to in 40 years.
