Hampton Post Office

All the other reviews are true. The cashier and I assume, the owner is rude and obnoxious, terrible at customer service. You are lucky if you can get out of the shop before yelled at. Post Office & Royal Mail should do something.

This is a good post office with sensible opening hours and near the station. The downside, as other reviews have mentioned, is that the owner is incredibly rude and more than a little aggressive. The lady whom I presume is his wife who's sometimes there is in contrast absolutely delightful - friendly and helpful.

The man most often running the counter is rude, utterly unhelpful, and shockingly unpleasant. If you have another convenient location nearby, use that post office instead.

I needed to leave some franked mail at this post office for collection (due to disruption to normal services) but he told me to not leave it there. 'your post is none of my business!', he said.

Awful behaviour, awful service, awful experience.

Unhelpful with local residents. I had arranged my special delivery to be diverted there as was one of the choice on Parcelforce website. However he refused to take it. I lost my two options as I was not home on the first attempt. Even the Ashford Hampton sorting office people telling me he was unhelpful with Royal Mail delivery. They recommended The Hampton bill branch, who by contrast is much more helpful. Think twice if you want to use their service.

I feel sorry for the lady who works in this place, she is very kind. but the man who works there is terribly rude , I highly recommend when he is behind the counter not to enter because it will make your day very bad. and then he charges for things more expensive than they should. terrible

I went to post a return using the freepost labels the retailer provided me. I was incredibly rudely told that 'you cannot post parcels freepost, contact the retailer and get new labels'. I went to Hampton Hill post office instead who gladly, and nicely told me I could, and sent it from them. Do yourself a favour and don't ruin your day by going here

I go quite often to this post office and have no complaints to make so far. Both the man and the woman have been friendly and helpful with everything I asked. Sometimes the man can be quite direct and makes some jokes it's true - but nothing unusual. They are hard-working people keeping their post office open from Monday to Sunday, which I think is also a plus.
