Strawberry Hill Post Office

Old grey haired man with a red bindi spot, is rude and blunt.
Your better off spending your money at another post office/corner shop, rather then starting your day off by receiving a very bad attitude.

Wouldn’t sell me a stamp so I could post a card in the post box outside as they were “locked away”. Didn’t offer an explanation as to why he couldn’t get one for me either, seemed more interested in continuing his video call he was on when I walked in. Shame as I prefer to support small local shops where possible. Won’t be going back

Rude staff better off going to Twickenham or Teddington to post your parcels they claim to open at 9 when post office website shows 8:30

I was indifferent that the post office counter service was closed when the closing time on Google Map says otherwise.

Used to work here delivering papers, everyone is lovely but just thought I’d share my recent experience whereby I asked for 2 items to be posted with tracking first class and I was told tracking was on the receipt. Had I not been in a rush (my fault) I would of checked the details outside the store to ensure tracking was correct. However to my disappointment when I got on the train to Waterloo I realised only 1 item had tracking and the other was express 48hours.

Sadly the operators here have lost the plot. I had to beg the lone assistant to let me sign for and collect an Amazon item as "the system is still down, come back tomorrow". As it is, this counter closes at 1pm daily but has also been out of action. Why can't the owners get a grip on this business which should surely be built on a basic understanding of reliable friendly service and began with such promise the last time it changed hands.

Staff unhelpful at best and sometimes downright rude. Local post office, small general store and stationers with dry cleaning agency as well so potentially very useful. Shame about the staff.
