West Heath Post Office

Since privatising, the owner closes early regularly with no warning nor apology, making the staff look foolish with no acceptable reasons. Several other customers wanted to use the post office services and were turned away while I was there too. The new desk location next to the shop counter is massively lacking in privacy and security. Such a shame the original counter has gone and the wonderful ladies also. 👎

This use to be a lovely little post office but since it has been taken over it's now a complete mess. They open and close when they please the times I've gone in there and the poor lady behind the counter is having to run the shop as well as the post office on her own. The manager is a joke he is very rude and won't even look at you when you are being served. My biggest problem though is the opening and closing times they open and close when they feel like it they are never open past 1 in the afternoon and it's a real shame because it was once a very popular post office now it's a bad joke

The two guys working in this shop are rude and obnoxious, no customer service skills whatsoever. The post office used to be open till 5.30 now you're lucky if it stays open till 1pm. Most days only 1 staff member to run both shop and post office.

The previous Post Office on this site was always open until 5.30PM and gave good service. .These new people are shut by 3 pm which is useless for me as I dont get off work until 3pm.They dont seem to care either that it says closing at 5.30PM on the sign outside ..The worker inside selling all the grocery items says I should complain to Post Office Ltd .My answer is just stay open for normal hours like all the other Post Offices in Birmingham or sell it on.We dont need part timers in this day and age.

Got there 8:50, online said post office is open at 9. I waiting until 9, and the guy said it wouldnt be open for another ten minutes at 9am. Ten minutes later another lady came in to use the post office and he said exactly the same to her and then another customer 5 minutes after her.I refused to leave the shop and just kept walking around. He had me waiting almost 30 minutes from the time I arrived. Not happy.

Can't say I shared the same experience as other reviewers. Went to drop off a couple of parcels just after 10am, zero issues. Cannot fault on customer service.
Only 4 stars because I have previously tried using the post office to send some documents during my lunch break but the lady staffing it was also on her lunch and there was no cover. Came back after 1, no issue.

General corner store and ATM facilities.

Twice now went to send a parcel and needed sellotape both times the lady refused to use the one on her counter and pointed for me to buy one from the shelf. This post office has gone downhill since it’s been taken over, closes when it wants the staff have no customer service skills whatsoever… Avoid

woman in post office is a joke, tried to pay rent from a bank card, theres a limit on withdraws from bank card. all she kept saying was the bank card isnt working or you dont have the money in the bank.

but she isnt meant to withdraw then pay, shes supposed to pay directly through the bank card, hung up on me when i rung up, rude woman.
