Coventry Road Post Office

Never been a great experience but have tried to ignore the attitude usually. In December I posted a valuable 12" record, having pre-paid the postage online. The postmistress made it clear she was unhappy about processing an item with pre-paid postage ("I don't make anything on these and will stop accepting them after Christmas"). Maybe no surprise to find the item got "lost" and never reached its destination. To rub salt in Royal Mail don't accept responsibility so I lost a lot of money. Will use another Post Office in future despite this being within easy walking distance.

Terrible service, from the lady who happens to be the post mistress. Took an elderly neighbour in to pay some bills a couple of weeks ago. The post mistress was rude and dismissive. Neighbour came away somewhat upset, feeling she had been mocked and belittled in front of other customers.

Being polite and respectful to the elderly costs nothing! Given their business keeps you in business you should treat people better. Will certainly avoid using this post office in the future. I would encourage others to think twice as to which local businesses they support; this place should not be one of them!

Says they are open till 4pm, arrived at 3.50 and it was locked up lights off with no one there. Waste of time finishing work early to get there. Saw 3 other people arrive to try and either collect or post items.

Absolutely vile. Do NOT go here there’s much nicer post offices. Gurjit does nothing but gossip about private business details from customers (that’s when you don’t hear her out back arguing with her husband). The old woman is just pure rude. Talk to you like they’re above you, refuse parcels and close randomly. Can’t think of one good point. Go to the main one in Hinckley, much nicer and treat you like a human.

I have a very bad experience in this beis post office, there is a lady working there , didn’t treat me in arrogant way , ignoring my questions and deny to explain what to do . This place with this employee is a law level of business dealing.

Always a nice experience when using this post office. The Postmistress has been chatty and helpful when I've been served by her. Not a very well stocked shop section though, looks like a carboot sale!

Called into here to post some very important court case legal documents via 1st Class Recorded Delivery.

I asked the lady who served me if after attaching the stamps and tracking sticker, I could then take a photo of the envelope.  She this wasn't allowed which I found strange as I've done this many many times all over the country.  I then requested my envelope back and was passed on to a very snooty (who I can only assume is the sub-postmisstress) who told me that as it was now property of the Queen that I wasn't allowed a photograph.  This lady shouldn't be allowed a customer facing role as in my opinion as dealing with the general public isn't her forte.

I eventually got my letter back after the labels were torn off and went elsewhere.  This lady was the rudest and possibly oddest person I've ever spoken to at Royal Mail in 25 plus years and I will be making a formal complaint.
