Imperial Avenue Post Office

I use this post office a lot and I have never once experienced any negative responses or attitude from the staff as stated in some of these reviews. I find them to be lovely people and polite, always greet me respectfully and always have a chat and jokes if it's quiet. The service is spot on. Maybe you get what you give.

They always try to charge highest price. When I come there I feel like worst person in the world. How dare I come and ask to send my parcels. Lady wanted to send my item as parcel even it did go through large letter hole. Started to scare me that other end will need to pay extra for postage. After explaining her that item fits large letter hole she started asking about item values just to charge me more. I started going to another post office only choosing this when not having enough time. But after today I will keep away from this place.

Really thought my bad experience was a one off but looking at the review these people just lack all kind of skills! Staff were very rude, draining and clearly lacked any respect for customers. I wanted to leave the moment I asked for help. Definitely avoid this postoffice if you want decent service.

Worse Post Office I've been to in my life!!! Owners are bad mannered, lack respect for customers and moan if you present prepaid parcels for shipment. Royal Mail needs to investigate this post office for extremely poor customer service.

Never returning again, disgusting attitude from the staff. We run an online business and often have prepaid packages to send off. They're small enough to be put through as a large letter which the post office in town told us. Yet the man in this post office very rudely said he wouldn't take it. He grabbed our fragile parcel and started to jam it through the board which determined the size, saying it was too big. He turned us away which made us return to the one in town. The staff at the post office in town said a large letter was more than enough as it can go through a letterbox easy

I don't usually leave reviews but this was unbelievable.Never go here, absolutely disgusting customer service.

Useless staff will never recommend this place rang up to ask if they was open. Was told yes at 2pm. Went at 2.30pm sign on the door said closed untill 3pm. Came back at 3.30pm sign had changed to now closed. Twice in one day walked up there waste of time will be using a different post office from now on..... how are you guys still in business

Better walk to leicester city centre and use services from there, rather than wasting time on such an arrogant staff with an ignorant behaviour to each and every customer.

I would have given a -ve star if possible option was found.
Haven't ever rated this low to any enterprise.
First ever bad experience in the United Kingdom.
I suggest royal mail should re-check the standards
