Convenient and local. Opening hours could be improved, but I guess demand is lower in evenings

A sorry excuse of a Post Office branch- The staff lack language skills to deal with customers. Paid for a Parcelforce Drop Off service and could drop the package off in any Post Office. The man insists that as it was over 20 kg the parcelforce driver wouldn't' take it! No amount of explanation was sufficient that the weight and dimensions were recorded and paid for hence the parcel should be picked up within 24 hours. Pathetic!

Horrible service. Because of these shops other shops are in lock down, staff allowed four young guys without mask in and in total there were 7 customers inside even there should be max 2 customers in. Service based on whom I know better I serve first. Happy to go somewhere else.

It's quite the handy little shop and post office to have nearby. I read the other comments and can say that I've never seen or heard the staff harassing anybody. The shop is indeed cramped but at least I can find pretty much all essentials( and more ) conveniently in walking distance(as per expectations of a convenience shop), it's by no means a 5* hotel customer service/layout/luxury experience but I honestly don't expect that when going in there. Although customer service point could use some improvement, staff have been friendly when I've initiated small talk. In regards to the parcel force comment, I'm pretty sure if you check online you can see that Royal Mail fulfils all shipping up to 20kg then 20+ is all parcel force, although I imagine the frustration if you haven't seen that info beforehand, but I don't think it is the shop/branch fault.
Overall, can't complain. I like having it near by to get essentials when I don't want to go to the supermarket, or when I need to post an item.

Avoid this post office !!!
Post office staff didn't accept my parcel today because they said it won't be collected until tomorrow and is to big to leave it in the shop till next day, as I checked my parcel is around 14 kg and 80cm x 70 cm and is fit for Parcel Force delivery
They advice to come back tomorrow morning around 10 o'clock to drop it , that will mean another drive to post office and handle the parcel one more tine .
The way they work is not acceptable and Royal Mail should check better the quality of service that local shops that act's as Post Office offer to customers
