Rickmansworth Post Office

Probably one of the worst post offices I've been to till date. The customer service is pathetic and hopeless. For any query related to delivery timelines or urgent delivery of parcels, the answer seems to be only with manager. Huge queues whilst the persons at the counter discuss and crack jokes among themselves. Do not provide full information, and I felt cheated couple of times as they knowingly push you to take expensive private courier services which have no service guarantee. Won't recommend this to anyone in and around Rickmansworth

WORST attitude on a post office staff member... no customer service skills at all! There are always queues and delays... I hate having to go there and will avoid it as much as possible... the shop and the shop keeper at the front is nice... but at the back of the store is where contention breeds ... it takes nothing to acknowledge a customer... even if you are busy... just to acknowledge them and say "I will be with you soon" alleviates stress from going to the post office... its already a chore! And considering there's a big sign saying "don't be rude to staff...we will not tolerate it" I find it cheeky that they are so rude themselves... lawding their miniscule piece of authority over people who need to be there for important reasons!

Have seen a great improvement recently, staff are friendly and helpful, queues are sometimes long due to being the only post office in the area,

I went to the post office today to post a parcel. The Indian man with black glasses had a military type attitude.same rudeness to previous customer. No politeness or courtesy.
I have reported him to the owner of business .

Very disappointed by the attitude of a post office cashier yesterday late afternoon. The man at the desk who served me was extremely abrubt in the way he addressed me, as when he had not heard me, he shouted his question and looked like he did not want to be there serving! I have also witnessed him speak abruptly to other customers in the past. All I wanted was to post a letter, some Customer Service training may be an idea there and would be very much appreciated.

Wasting my time, according to the open times on Good and according to the post office website, they should be open, but they were closed when I went there at about 11am on a Friday. They had their open times on the door which stated from Monday 13th, not very helpful for Friday the 10th is it? Now I don't know when to go back to collect an urgent parcel as I can't go by their open times anywhere. Please, Post Office, get your open times updated on Google and your website to avoid your customers making wasted trips, thank you.

I see the response from the Post Office, yes it was the Rickmansworth branch, I have collected parcels from there on a number of occasions. The two times I wen there the door was firmly locked, so open from 9am to when? It would be helpful if your website, Google and the information on your door were all in line with what you are actually doing.

All of the staff working here try and ‘up sell’ you to the most expensive delivery service! I’ve recently seen an elderly customer wanting to send a normal letter by standard service persuaded into next day delivery, absolutely outrageous! Customer service is poor and sadly their upselling scandal is only to line their own pockets. Avoid at all costs !
