Ipswich Post Office

Wildly unprofessional. Just saw a member of staff chase a customer out of the shop, nearly knocking other customers down the stairs in the process with zero regard to social distancing, and then throw a parcel into the street. I half expected to see cameras filming for some sort of comedy bit. Perfect example of bad customer service.

Ridiculous service, staff is very unprofessional and uncooperative.

Never enough staff so the opening hours are unpredictable. When it is open the queue is so long because they’re dealing with the backlog of being closed for lunch/the day before etc. Only ever one person working so self service are frequently disabled too. Most of the time I see signs stating that they won’t be doing passport checks and the like, only the more basic services. Also had several issues with people who no longer seem to work there. Overall customer service is not considered by whoever is in charge of running this branch, as they need to hire more staff and turn it into a fully operational post office!

Been to this post office today(Sunday at 11am).
It was in darkness, no staff.
Google says it is open.
A lack of any standards.
You cant even open when you advertise that you are.
And please do not blame covid or the cost of living for this.
Nobody cares about customers.

Hi went in on Saturday 26/11. Poor man rushed off his feet.but what a great job he was doing very polite and helpful a didn't mind waiting well done.x

Sent a card to a friend and it was ripped open, and a thief stole a stamp I had enclosed. She said 4 envelopes she received this season were opened. Shame on you postal workers that are stealing enclosed items.

Not sure if base incompetence or deliberately being a jobsworth, but I have never experienced so much hassle trying to return a parcel. The muppet behind the desk couldn't seem to read a simple label and kept asking all manner of questions I didn't have an answer to and then advised, rather patronisingly, that it would be in my best interest to find out. Maybe just take the parcel and send it to where it says to go on the label?

today I found out that my BRP was ready for issuance already on October 5, every time I come to this branch they tell me that they have a large backlog, so today it has been more than 30 days that they have been dismantling their backlog, I have a feeling that I am in post office somewhere in the desert, everything is so slow and unprofessional, since I don't have a track number, I just visit them every week to check ... it's just not comprehensible in the 21st century to organize work so disgusting
