Staff (plural; the problem is systemic here) at counter do not provide calm, full information about the range of options for posting. (I mean, even when very clearly asked please to do so - and, when the place is not busy at all).
Instead, they only bark at you the most expensive option, as if it is the only choice available.
In order to squeeze the proper range of information out of them, you have to be extremely firm. This is barely manageable, for a very sharp witted, local resident who more or less knows the system, and is prepared to be highly assertive, in the face of their lack of transparency and hostile manner. For anyone else ... completely impossible to access, or even understand, the proper Post Office range of service options here.
The "service" is anything but. More like some kind of fascist prison camp.
Revolting experience.

I went there just once, the person at the counter was really, really rude! I had to collect a parcel and he asked me for an ID-passport ( which i totally agreed), but then, when he asked for my the post code and i mistaken ( i said just one letter wrong) because i recently moved and i couldn't clearly remember it, this person started to yelled at me saying i didn't know where i lived, what i was doing there etc... he scared me a lot! i will never go again ! and then, even if it was 5.15pm and they where spposed to close at 5.30, he refused to serve the other people on the queue. That's a really bad customer service!

Went at 11am and told I would have wait at least half an hour because apparently only one person can do it and they were ‘on lunch’. No one seemed to care or think this was an issue. So only use if totally random opening hours are no problem to you!

Staff always very friendly - BUT this post office is in a crowded Coop and people queueing literally in the food aisle, as it happened today for 8-10 of us standing for >30 min in a very crowded shop just before closing time (5.30 pm). Not an ideal setup at all. Maybe consider some signage on the floor for the respective queues/checkout directions, so people do not squeeze past unnecessarily.

Having said that, again, the staff is most helpful and the lady serving us all today did continue to serve all costumers that were in the line (>7 left) behind me in the queue well beyond the official closing time of the shop. That is 5 star plus - thank you!

I feel bad about the negative reviews. It is an ordinary post office, I was there more than 3 times and had no problems at all. Every time I was treated kindly and finished with my business in 5 mins (bill payment or parcel sending) with only a few customers in line - before and during Covid19 times too. And to be honest that is all I want from a post office so 5 stars for you!

Queued of course for Post Office but they couldn't sell me an envelope. So queued again to purchase envelopes. Then back to Post Office to queue again to send stuff. What a joke. Had a small parcel to post to the Irish Republic was told that I could not send it because it was on list of countries in Europe that we are banned from sending mail to ATM. Came home. Read in Guardian that Irish Republic IS NOT ON THE LIST OF BANNED COUNTRIES. Back tomorrow to queue again. What a shambolic
place. Never going there again which is probably why she does it. One star because cant post with No Stars

Although it's supposed to be open on a Saturday morning, it rarely is. Today is a Saturday and this morning it was closed. Also do not go 12-1pm, they close for lunch during this time.

I feel bad complaining, because I use this Co-op nearly every day and the staff are always great. However, this post office might as well not be there. Have just tried to use the Energy bill support voucher to top up my gas and electricity. Was told "We can't do that" ... despite them having done exactly that less than 4 weeks ago. Waste of time.
