Little Hallam Lane Post Office

This is a small yet busy Post Office, a little tight to move around inside, but they do have a fair selection of foods and household goods available.

Prices are ok for a small shop, service is good and each time I have used it the staff have been friendly.
There is a Post box and a Telephone box outside, that said parking can be an issue, especially at certain times of the day, like school times for example, lunch and last posting time.

Overall though I give five stars for the service given and the fact they are key to the local community.

At 6pm on Wednesday 1st May I nipped in to buy goods only to be held in a queue because the post office was closed but the one member of staff in attendance decided that she would leave the shop to go to the back to look for someone's parcel, bare in mind it was over 2 weeks that parcel had been waiting for collection, as it was broadcast to everyone in the queue. After 10 mins I walked out.

Closes post office counter by the till when he feels like it. Try to support local businesses where I can, he’s just lost my custom.

On a number of occasions now, I have tried to use the post office service however the staff in store haven't been trained and so the post office counters were closed. I'm talking a Monday after 4pm, Thursday at 6pm and 8.30 one morning. I appreciate unanticipated absences can't be helped, however this has not been on one occasion. The service shouldn't be offered if it cannot be provided. I won't be wasting my journey to this post office in future

We use the drop and go service, the staff are so helpful and very friendly.
