Limes Medical Centre

Whenever I have an urgent medical requirement I've always found the surgery to be very accommodating.
I have a complex medical history and as long as I mention this to the receptionist answering the phone,I always receive a phone call from the nurse practitioner or doctor on call and seen the same day or have a telephone review.
I had such a problem yesterday and was seen almost immediately and the GP called me today to see how I was.
If there is a long wait on the phone the queue buster option is useful.

The Limes have a great online portal that I use to make initial enquiries/repeat prescriptions - it saves me waiting on the phone and most importantly, leaving the lines open for someone who needs an emergency appointment.

I received excellent cs this morning,sat 24th sep 2022. I chaperoned a dementia patient for covid & flu jabs. I have not yet received an invite for my jabs. I queried this with the 2 nurses & they couldn’t have been more helpful.Credit where it’s due, We often hear all the negatives for booking appointments but this was above & beyond. Thank you.

Reception staff do not want to have to do anything, their role in life is to make it as hard as possible to see a doctor who only works part time anyway. The practice manager is useless and doesn't follow up any complaints that are made against staff, they would rather expell patients instead!

Rapidly declining in quality. At their happiest when they can 'process' you as fast as possible and get rid of you. Staff are a misery.

After being with this surgery for 48 years, I have just been informed that I am outside the catchment area and have lost my place there...... absolutely disgusting the way I was informed, just a letter, no explanation, oh...and the thing is ...I'm inside the catchment area, and they knew why I used another address.... disgusting

I've needed to contact the surgery twice in recent months.
The reception staff have been lovely and I've spoken or seen the docot on both occasions very quickly

My family and I have always received exceptional care from the team at The Limes. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful surgery. The team are caring and compassionate and the clinicians are exceptionally competent. Despite the challenging times the NHS is facing, I truly feel my family and I are in safe hands. Thank you to the whole team 🙂
