Very poor service recently. Lost my prescription on two separate occasions. Some of the receptionist think the patients are nothing but an inconvenience. Doctors not familiar with the system? No routine appointments? 5pm closing? Nurses who think it's ok to be rude and down right insulting to patients? I will be looking to change GP asap and would encourage any new patients to look for an alternative.

I have nothing but good things to say about this surgery. More so since the merger with St.Johns. Yes, it's a pain to call @8am, but that's the same with all surgeries this days. And if you have a genuine emergency, either paediatric or geriatric, they have always sent a doctor. I myself have had some issues over the last 12 months and they have advocated for my further treatment at hospital, and have prescribed me much needed meds at very short notice. I can't fault this surgery, all of the staff are lovely. If they're not to you, then maybe it's your attitude that needs to change when dealing with them. Very disappointed to see such a low score for a fantastic GP Surgery.

Absolute shambles you don’t know if you got to go Aberdare or park these days ! I agree with another user it’s gone to the dogs. Ok so about a year onwards and doctors do not want to see patients.... actually got sent to A&E which is overloaded for something the doctors at park should have dealt with ..... I mean how difficult is it to make an assessment? But no , they sent me to pch to know I needed some antibiotics which I knew already .... when challenged the doctor in park got angry because I had dared to challenge her authority.... well how about this: qualification and letters mean nothing if you are so far up your own passageway to do your job properly.... I am not impressed

As others have stated, this used to be a great medical practice but since Dr Foster, etc. left and it changed hands its rapidly gone downhill. To get an appointment is almost impossible and since the pandemic began you only get through to the reception who try to diagnose you, if that fails you may be lucky to get a call back but all but impossible to see anyone. This is the NHS at its worst

I have a long term autoimmune disease for which I take immunosuppressants. Because my meds are quite toxic, my specialist in Cardiff recommended I have a blood test every 3 months to monitor liver function and blood count. Throughout the pandemic, Park have insisted I come in every month for bloods, putting myself at risk, despite not having issues with my meds for years. They supposedly did not receive the letter from my specialist which was sent to them twice stating it needed to be 3-monthly. I then found out that the doctor there (unsure which as wasn't told) had ordered only blood count and not a liver function test for half a year. Nurses are great, but there are lots of things there not getting done properly.

Continuously the worse surgery I've ever had the misfortune to attend. No consistency with doctors, locum used, fobbed off with stupid irrelevant referrals. If you are educated, have knowledge of how the NHS works or have experience with other practises you will realise how bad they are.

My wife was sent with urgency from the pharmacist in Trecynon to see the doctor following a bad burn to her hand and possible infection. The receptionist told her there were no appointments however urgent and that she should come back early in the morning in the hope she mat get in tomorrow!
This behaviour is disgusting and not what we have paid taxes and NI for 50 years for! These doctors are a disgrace.

Park Surgery has gone downhill since Dr Foster and Dr Fleming left, it offers a terrible service. One doesn’t know what the other is doing, receptionists are rude and desperately need customer service training. It’s so bad I’ve now moved to a different GP Surgery.
