The Birchington office of Miles and Barr were excellent throughout the process of selling my property.

A few days after the house went onto the market, I had received multiple viewing notifications via email to let me know that people were interested in seeing the property. The brochure and photos were of a high quality and this helped to sell the house.

An offer was put in quickly and accepted.

Lisa Rice was then my primary point of contact and as a nervous first time seller, she was excellent in replying to my emails and phone calls; any queries I had were dealt with promptly, effectively and in a professional manner.

I was kept informed in every step of the process and overall the house was sold in a smooth and effective way and I am happy to recommend Miles and Barr.

We bought a house in Birchington using Ed Elliott as our point of contact. He was outstanding in his efforts and professionalism and found our house for us keeping us informed the whole time. I purchased a property through Miles and Barr during the first lockdown, they answered all of my questions and were always prompt in replying. Nothing felt like too much for them, and despite the difficulties of moving during lockdown, they made it feel very smooth. Definitely would recommend, Debbie especially was very helpful and lovely to deal with.

When moving house, it can be very stressful. Miles and Barr have made our moving experience very easy, calm and without stress. They are on the end of the telephone at anytime to answer any queries that we had and if they could not, they would find out the answers and come straight back to us. We found that there was "nothing too much" for Miles and Barr and we are extremely grateful for their professionalism and friendliness. Asked for details on properties but never received any, had to find them myself. Staff in Birchington were ok but I had the misfortune to deal with Broadstairs- appalling experience from start to finish. Disinterested and ill informed staff who couldn't care less! Avoid unless you want a bucket load of stress and pay for the privilege.
