I have nothing but praise for the service I and my family received from the Surbiton branch of Chancellors.

We sold our house with Chancellors and both Gareth and Josh were exceptionally friendly, knowledgable, helpful and efficient from day one. They arranged everything and the whole process went very smoothly. We had a large number of potential buyers come to view our property and ended up getting the price that we had hoped for.

Gareth was always available to offer advice and answer any queries we had, and was definitely willing to go above and beyond. I cannot recommend Chancellors Surbiton highly enough and would undoubtedly use them again in the future.

I bought a house and sold my flat in Surbiton via Chancellors using them for the first time in 2014 and the whole experience was fantastic. From the initial consultation with Gareth and then the handling of both deals by Josh the team was totally professional and reliable. Josh was great at communicating and I never had to chase for an update. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Chancellors, and would use them again if I move in the future. I have moved a lot of times - 10 in total now - and Chancellors have been by far and away my best experience of any estate agent I have ever used.

Terrible.

We called to book in a viewing for property in Surbiton, my details were taken on the call and the time/date was confirmed. Drove 25 minutes to the viewing and there was no one there, we tried to call the office but were instead transferred to the customer service office who said they would try to get a message to the branch. We left after waiting for 30 minutes. An hour later they finally called us back to say that the property was no longer available.

Complete waste of time.

I visited the Surbiton office today to enquire about a flat let for my son. Gavin was not in the office but Holly contacted him straight away to see when he was returning, in order for me to register an interest in the property.
Holly was extremely accommodating, friendly but also efficient and professional.
The same can be said about Gavin, who returned to the office, welcomed me warmly, provided me with the information I needed and booked me in for a viewing. Brilliant. Thanks to both of you for making it work for me so quickly. Superb customer service !

Gavin is such a delightful agent. We have rented for over 10years now, and he has by far been one of the best people to deal eith- super efficient, genuinely friendly, and incredibly helpful. Chancellor's is very blessed to have this super star on their roll!

In search of a suitable house I met many property agents and while in this search I visited Chancellors Surbiton office. Mr Gavin Gordon assured me that he will try his best and he clearly told me what is realistic situation right now. Gavin was friendly, courteous and most importantly knowledgeable on the property and the landlords requirements. He made every effort to negotiate terms on my behalf in a quick and efficient manner.

We rented a property managed by Chancellors for 3 years. When we first agreed to rent they gave us a time to do the check in/inventory, we showed up on time and waited 45 min and no one showed up. Upon calling their office they said their representative had already been to the property earlier in the day, hours before the agreed upon time and did the inventory without us and we’d have to collect the keys from the office. The inventory was incorrect, it listed things that were not included in the property and we had to fight to have them taken off. Throughout renting they constantly called/emailed asking for information that we had emailed to them several times previously. We would forward the original emails to them again and they would promise they wouldn’t ask again, just for the process to repeat a month later. There seems to be very poor communication within the branch and emails are consistently not read / missed by the team entirely.
