A great communicator, lots of feedback and she gives an honest and frank opinion.
I used this business some years ago now. My wife suffered with asthma and we specifically asked that the property be free from mould and problems of that nature. I don't want to mention specific names but the main representative assured us that there wasn't a problem. In the wintertime, we had to regularly clean mould off the walls, despite our asking regarding this.
Another issue was the heating, we were told the property had underfloor heating and then when the winter came (we started renting in the summer) nothing worked. We were then told that it only worked at night! A simple electrician’s job would have allowed us to use the heating whenever we wanted, but the response on behalf of the landlord was no. The remedy was to install radiators everywhere, but doing that would have very significantly reduced the floor space of the flat.
Our furniture was already placed against the wall and obviously, underfloor heating was one of the things that attracted us to the property.
But the biggest problem that haunted us throughout our entire stay at this flat was the shower. It was very unreliable, faulty and didn't work. In seconds it would change from scolding hot to freezing cold. Time and time again we complained and nothing was done. Apparently, there was an existing plumbing problem that made the entire system faulty. Therefore, the electric shower didn't and couldn’t work properly. We've had to run bath after bath to simply get washed, and when you wanted a quick shower, it wasn't possible.
The insulting thing about all this was that we felt Ann Charles was a little dishonest. They mentioned that they knew the system didn't work (even though at the beginning of our rental we asked if everything worked) and yet they didn't tell us. In fact, on our leaving this place they mentioned that the landlords 'intended' to fix the shower problems for the new tenants coming in, but the representative mentioned that really, they had no intention of fixing it - the plumbing job was simply too expensive.
Therefore, this business has to be blamed for withholding known information and know history of the properties they manage and the landlords’ real intentions. I could also add other things to the list such as the promise of the carpet being changed and shower screen replaced- but unfortunately these were empty promises that in my view (though I may be wrong) were designed to attract us to the property. Renters please be aware.

Firstly she requested to see my daughter which was weird ( 7 year old )
Secondly got to the property at 840am no one was there which was understandable left an email and called to say I am here. I waited till 9am in my car (opposite the property) no one turned up so I left.
She messages me to say I am here where am I and that I clearly was not here etc even worse she calls me eminem haha!
To top it all off she gives me a load abuse down the phone. Seemed high of drugs or alcohol ! The rubbish she was talking
Seriously people stay away !
