The Secret Garden Bistro

Really delightful bistro in an idyllic location next to the river in Malham. Very nice interior, plenty of space, and a good atmosphere. The food was excellent with a good variety of dishes. Great vegan options including dessert. We all went for the Sunday roast vegan version, in our case with vegan sausages. Apparently we were told that the owners are vegan and this is evident in the quality of the vegan choices on the menu. The sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice-cream was heavenly. There was a good range of vegan ice-creams from Northern Bloc. The service was also absolutely great, friendly and attentive. What a great place. We will definitely return and have booked in for cream tea.

Lovely place to eat. Food and desserts were delicious and well presented. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Decor is lovely and outdoor seating is great too. Pricing is fair also - worked out to just shy of 30 quid a head for two of us getting a main, dessert and two drinks each.

Dog friendly if you have a hairy companion in tow.

Would visit again in a heartbeat.

Amazing food in a fabulous location. Menu is extensive and has lots of options for different dietary requirements. Friendly staff. Dog was happy at getting two dog biscuits from staff! Beautiful waterside location. Would def recommend!

Fabulous Tapas range. I especially enjoy the miso cod bites. Not tried the afternoon tea but looks delicious!

Fabulous river side dining. Lovely menu, excellent beers and wine, gorgeous setting. And very dog friendly too. Very highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is a gem hidden away in a beautiful place. I tried other places around and hands down this would be my only choice to go for food. The staff is super friendly. The service was quick. The big bonus is that it’s very dog friendly too! Try their buttery steak sandwich - yum!!

Popped in for lunch after a walk around malham cove. Really nice restaurant and the outside area is beautiful!
The tapas was really tasty, the garlic dip that came with the mushrooms was amazing! Roast lamb was also great, with a massive Yorkshire pudding of course! Would definitely recommend!
