Really lovely staff - so friendly and welcoming. Well cooked homely dishes and a great carvery. Recently had to cancel a birthday meal due to illness and the staff were so understanding and concerned. We’ll continue to be regulars!

Excellent venue for large occasions! It boasts a large capacity event hall with ample parking in a serene and leafy location. Great staff too, very professional and courteous! Highly recommend this venue!

Food is stunning there are vegan options. Very kid friendly always parking and wilchere friendly and they cater to your dietary needs

The food was absolutely amazing and plentiful. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was.
All the ladies were really lovely and helpful on the day.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect for the room and how it would be laid out, well I couldn’t believe how lovely it was. Little twinkly lights, lovely atmosphere room. The option to play music via Bluetooth.
The table was pretty with little flower arrangements.
Honestly; I couldn’t be more thankful and delighted with the day.

I’ll whole heartedly recommend The Appleyard in Sittingbourne. Went there for work Christmas Doo and my best Friend 40th birthday party celebrations. Venue ( function room & toilets ) is very clean, different selections of delicious Buffett, brilliant DJ, lovely bar, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Going to book my husband 50th birthday 🎉 bash next year with them. It’s so convenient to get to locally near Albany park & Sainaburys. They also do life music / gigs in the weekends.

Just want to say a huge thank you to all members of staff who made my sisters wedding day absolutely beautiful yesterday.
Shout out to Mike, Claire and Sarah for making the entire day come together from beginning to end. We haven't been the most easiest to accommodate for, last minute changes and last minute stress but at every turn we have had support that went above and beyond.
The service room was organised beautifully, the welcome drinks were prompt and handed around, all staff had welcoming smiles, and the venue room - Wow, it looked incredible. From arriving to an empty room to drop off to then returning and seeing it cleaned and dressed to perfection was excellent. You could really see the staff had gone all out to make sure it looked as good as it did.
The food was excellent, three courses all served fresh and hot per table, generous portions given for each course. It really was lovely.
The buffet was lush, again, so much food to offer and the cake was cut for guests and displayed on a platter alongside the buffet.
Bar staff were incredible, smiley chatty and no one was left waiting to long.
All in all, I cannot fault one part of the day. It was delivered beautifully and the end result couldn't have been achieved without the wonderful staff at the Appleyard!
Personal thanks to Mike from me, for making sure I was happy with how things were running throughout. I appreciate all the help and support.
I didn't actually manage to get any photos, but I think Sarah did - hopefully she is able to post a few.
We shall all definitely be returning to try out the carvery in the near future 🐷

To anyone thinking of booking here for any kind of function or attending just for food etc - give it a go. You will not be disappointed.

5* Service all round

My experience because I'm not disabled in the way that I'm I'm in a wheelchair but the downstairs toilet is very difficult to manoeuvre to open the door or put my wheelchair inside lock the door and turn myself around and get out again it's not suitable for a disabled wheelchair user and can't go up to the upstairs toilet because there's no lift it should be more accommodating and made bigger it's alright if you haven't got a wheelchair are but it's very difficult if you got one leg because usable and you can't walk and it's not the person in the wheelchair that's complaining is other people and watch it happening
