We came here around August. Food was good..that was all. I went with the ladies from work and sat upstairs. We asked for a bottle of prosecco and the waitress scowled and said “I’ve only got two hands!”
What’s your point honey? Anyway we ordered more throughout the night and the service was just too slow, kept forgetting our water and they seemed annoyed that we were upstairs and they had to walk upstairs.

We ordered coffees and a tipple at the end and I asked for a floater Irish coffee with whiskey and my friend asked for the same with amaretto. We got cappuccinos each that tasted like coffee and no whiskey or amaretto at all and the floater cream was nowhere to be seen or in a glass...just your standard coffee cup. We expressed annoyance and they said “we don’t have floater coffees!” we asked why they assumed we wanted cappuccinos each and why no one advised us they didn’t have them so we could order something different. In the end they said they would give us a free tipple so we got a whiskey and amaretto and they waitress comes up and says “my manager said you can’t have it on the house but we will take the coffees off the bill!” What? The coffees that we didn’t want in the first place? Wow thanks how generous!

Dreadful service and certainly won’t be setting foot in there again. Normally like Prezzo on the whole but this branch should be avoided with service and attitudes like this!

Food was tasty but waiting staff were not very friendly. We had young children with us and we did not feel very welcome at all. No smile from staff as we entered or goodbyes as we left. We had to approach the server to place our order. They tidied away our plates before we had finished.

Worth a visit, especially if you have a voucher (usually available on their website if you sign up for their newsletter). The starter to share is very ice, as were all the mains. The lasagne was extremely hot (temperature) but delicious once it was left to cool for a bit. Staff were friendly and not overly attentive!

To be honest I was quite disappointed with the meal we had. The food was ok, although my dish (carbonara) was riddled with shredded parsley, which I hate and I don't think was mentioned on the menu. I did see other guests with the same dish and they seemed to just have the parsely as a garnish on the top so I don't know why mine was different.

It took over an hour for our main dishes to be served which was quite bad. There was no mention of the timings when we arrived so weren't aware we'd have to wait so long. Also I don't think they were expecting our arrival even though we had booked online. (In fairness we had only booked around 45 mins before though so that may be why).

When it came to getting the bill it took us ages to grab anyone's attention. It felt a bit like the staff were avoiding eye contact. We then had to wait ages to pay and were then informed the till was broken and they were working to fix it. This added around 30 minutes to the time we spent in the restaurant. I am aware this was an unavoidable issue but on top of every else wasn't great.

The staff were pleasant though, especially the manager.

I have been to other Prezzo's and had similar issues with slow service and staff avoiding eye contact so I don't think this place is the exception.

We popped in as they were doing a deal. 40% off all food. Taking the discount in to account it was well worth the money we paid.a beer, coke, 2 mains and a large garlic bread to share cost £25.

The food and services very good.

Had the Autumn two course menu, food was fabulous but don't go expecting to get a starter, dessert and wine, you must have starter and main or main/dessert combo to get the two course set???!!!!
Went with girl friends at 5.30pm had lovely meal and perfect ambiance. Will definitely be returning.
Fab, fab food

Great staff (especially the manager and a young gentleman whose customer service was exceptional). We came here as we had a gift voucher given to us. Ambience was lovely, food was delicious and we had a great evening. Will definitely be returning again!

Personally some foods were ok, I have two children and the waitress (rudely) would not allow one of them to order from the kid set menu as she “isn’t 11” even though my child does not like the sizes of adult portions. I would also like to address the fact that three ants climbed on to our table, one ant reached our glass and another reached our cutlery, the last ant had climbed on to my napkin before I had finished using it.

The waitress we had was very rude and abrupt towards us, she also did not understand what we were saying.

Staff are also very chatty between theirselves and decided to stop and stare on multiple times throughout the evening, we all found this very rude. This was after the incident of the kids menu.

The tables were not cleaned properly as they were still very sticky.

We travelled nearly 350 miles to take a friend out for a long-overdue dinner. The evening was ruined and we went to dominoes after where we received a much better service and better food.

We will not be returning anytime soon.
