Let’s get started with the bbq wings. These wings were served alongside some salad. Before we could even tuck into the starter, we had requested for some plates and cutlery. Everything we had requested for seemed to have been given at different times so we had to wait a little longer to dig into our food. Anyway, the bbq wings was pretty decent. The bbq wasn’t too overpowering so we were able to savour the food. The salad was just the classic but we still enjoyed munching on it. Unfortunately though, we couldn’t even finish it. The waitress had come over to the table as we were eating it and had asked if we were finished with it. Before we could even respond back to her, she just took the plate and walked away with it. It seemed like they were trying to rush us as it was approaching the closing time, but even then... not a good enough excuse. She took my salad!!!
Mains:
First thing first, the chicken biriyani, vegetable curry and butter chicken were served pretty quick and the portion size was okay for the price given. The biriyani came alongside some mint sauce. The biriyani tasted quite nice but the mint sauce didn’t quite compliment it. The butter chicken however wasn’t as I had expected it to be at all. It didn’t even look or taste like ‘butter chicken’. It was drained in oil and tasted just like a normal chicken curry. On the other hand, the mixed vegetables was unique. It was full of flavour so would definitely say it was up there compared to the rest of the food. On the downside though, all the food did generally taste quite stale. It seemed like the food was cooked a few days back and had just been reheated.
Overall, we didn’t have the best experience there and would definitely not be going back there again or recommend it personally to anyone.
The food was overall good, the Grilled Chicken Kabsa and Grilled Chicken burger was really good. The spices on the grilled Chicken piece on Kabsa was amazing and it was a very good portion of rice and chicken. The burger was reasonable size as well.
The fish burger patty wasn’t up to the mark and chicken biryani was more like yellow coloured rice with chicken boneless pieces in it.
We arrived on Sunday around 2 in the afternoon and it wasn’t that busy, so lots of space to sit down.
Wrap was so cold from outside not properly grilled , too much sweet sauce inside . Sauce with chicken was good.
Grilled chicken was not properly grilled .
Staff was good .
Overpriced .
