Just returned from a side splitting Sunday Carvery. The pub was not crowded unlike some on a Sunday, the place was clean, the staff very helpful and the starters and main were great value. We've been before lockdown and again now and the standards have been kept up. Well worth it.

What a lovely place. The staff were very friendly and so helpful they never stopped and nothing was too much for them. The food was excellent I will definitely be going there again

Went for the Carvery for Sunday lunch, 16th Oct. Not as good as our previous visit 6 or so weeks ago to be honest. Elements of the carvery are good (soft meat, nice yorkshire puds), however the veg is hit and miss. Roast potatoes not crisp on the outside, undercooked & hard green veg, then very soft carrots and mushy watery sweet potato mash. Some broccoli would be nice too. Cauliflower cheese completely tasteless, no cheese taste whatsoever in the white sauce and no tasty gravy. All in all a bit bland. Shame, because it's quite good value, and it is a lovely Country Pub. However the desserts, are very good. Just need to up their game a bit with the carvery, as there are much better ones in and around the area. Wouldn't rush back.

Fabulous restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. friendly, helpfully staff. Very welcoming and my dog loved them. Food was delicious! Great amount and quality, very much worth the money. Even my dog got some free sausages and a bowl of whipped cream. 10/10 will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Lovely meals had by 26 members of our family in this gorgeous decorated room in the Thornhill Arms.
