Safestore Self Storage Crayford

Great service. We arrived late afternoon on a Friday (12 Aug) and were greeted with a friendly face and where given a great explanation and tips to help get our items into the store. Unfortunately we ran 15 minutes over the closing time but were not hassled just helped to make sure we could get everything stored away. ☺️

I need some storage for a several boxes, while I work through a difficult situation. I went to Safestore to see if they could provide a simple solution and was delighted that they can!
Trasey is very friendly and efficient. She cannot be more helpful. The process is very easy and I recommend Safestore in Crayford to anyone in a similar situation to me.

I have worked with a number of different self storage companies in the past and I have not gone anywhere else since using SafeStore Crayford. Good value for money, very efficient set up and the best customer service. Tracey in particular is always a pleasure to work with and a credit to the company. I would highly recommend.

Just the most rudest staff (Tracey) in crayford spoke to us about information we didn’t know / not clear about and was so so so rude about it. So sad considering I have used this safe store before with absolutely no issues but now having to speak with someone, I’m shocked at how poor they are at dealing with complaints (after being condescending, she dropped the phone on us). I must point out that we were not treated kindly at all. No one should be made to feel this way and must be treated with respect and dignity. When we said we didn’t know about the restricted opening times and mum didn’t know that it meant office opening times, Tracey even said things like “if your mum couldn’t understand, she should have asked more questions” 😫😫😫 Mind you, mum met this Tracey in person initially and I feel some prejudice already with her poor choice of language. Like who speaks like this?!

I turned up at safestore in a complete mess. My house sale had just fallen through and I needed to empty my house of packed boxes. Safestore just took over and arranged everything. I would say they saved my bacon. All dealings with staff have been straightforward, clear and friendly. I would so recommend safestore. Brilliant company.

They charged me before I had even moved in my stuff yet, not sure how that happens but my account was fixed upon move-in and I was charged correctly. Move-in process was easy and staff were very helpful.

Sorting out a storage unit was much easier than I expected. Staff were extremely helpful showing us around and explaining how it worked. The half-price offer for the first 8 weeks combined with an NHS discount was very welcome. We would recommend this facility.

Tracey Marshall (apologies if my spelling is incorrect) at crayford was absolutely amazing, accommodating and understanding. Definitely a HUGE asset to the company. I don't think I would have had such a great experience with safestore if she personally had not helped me and gone above and beyond to assist myself and my son who has autism. Thank you Tracey! You are a star. My two criticisms with the storage unit in particular is it has a structural beam going through it which reduces the square feet and also the way I have had to store my property and the opening hours could be longer but just to liaise with this amazing lady made me forget about all the stress of moving. Thanks again.
