This lovely duo managed to completely restore a vintage pair of Gucci loafers that my mother gave to me in just two days! The soles were splitting, cracking and completely near destroyed. I had ridiculously short timeline before leaving and I can’t thank them enough for taking the project on.

The work they do is exquisite, an art. We don’t have quality shoe repair where I live so I’m thrilled to have found them as I visit my family in England often. My beautiful shoes will last indefinitely with new soles. They even have traction now! Being from rainy Oregon, that is a game changer. Beyond affordable, this cobbler shop and the work they do is the best there is. 🙌

Have had a pair of Clarks sort of smart, lightweight casual trainers for many years and after many miles the heels were worn down and the edging was becoming separated. I looked for a considerable time but could find nothing to compare, then I found Cliton Cobblers. A perfect repair was done in days and its like having a new pair that I have hardly taken off. Another pair of Clarks leather deck shoes will be getting the Cobblers attention in the next couple of days.

This place is the best! Reglued the soles of my platform boots which had come apart even polished them all for £5. They look brand new! So quick and friendly service can’t recommend enough.

They have destroyed my shoes!

I came in to get my shoes resoled and have them cleaned and polished.

What I ended up with were what you see in the picture. The edging of the shoes is mangled and awful, there’s glue and paint marks all over, the welt was in pieces and re glued in place and painted over to hide the issue. The heels are not flush, not sealed and look rough as hell.

I discussed this with two gentleman who expressed disappointment with the job, and explained they could not be repaired.

I have since sent two letters as I’ve yet to be responded to. I hope we can find a solution to the matter. I look forward to getting this resolved.

Thank you

Great cobblers. Took my favourite & worn Jeffrey West’s in, and Scott not only re-soled them in rubber, but also sorted the heel out (where I wasn’t walking true) and levelled it for me, furthermore he rebuilt the toe. Arguably better than new, as this will prevent water penetration and slippage. Highly recommended.

I collected my much loved and repaired Trickers tramping shoes today. I've had these shoes for 45 years and they were suffering. I'm extremely pleased with the result. They were leather soled and slippery, but now a beautifully stitched modern sole ensures my safety and comfort for years to come.

I’m so impressed with my Doc Martens. They had a big crack down the side and Clifton Cobblers re-soled them for me. I was so worried that they wouldn’t look good after but they are fantastic. Very fair price and done within 2 days. They even gave them a polish before returning. Thank you so much I can’t believe I love them even more than before.

absolutely brilliant craftsmen. They rebuilt my husbands boots to such a high standard. They only had half a heal but it was rebuilt like knew. Not expensive, charged very fair 👌 not a long wait either.
