Absolutely shocking customer service. Paid £7k for a Halo leather corner suite and armchair, it arrived marked, after only a few days it’s puddled and wrinkled. Customer care is abysmal, they never answer the phone or call you back. They booked a visit with service technician giving me only a 12 hour window, took a day off work to make sure I’d be here - no one showed up. Took another two weeks to get a reply from them and a new appointment, this time technician showed up but 2 weeks later I’ve heard nothing since and they ignore my emails. I am GUTTED I spent so much on this tat and the disgraceful standard of after care. Don’t buy from these cowboys!!!!

Awful! Sofa arrived after 6 months and didn’t fit (after being assured by the salesman look at our house plan) had to wait a further 6 months for a new one and pay another 200 pound on top, the manager is very unhelpful and extremely rude, this was also supported by the eventual delivery team who also stated that.

As for the product - it the worst sofa I’ve ever sat on, we have had it for 5 months (not much use as the floor is actually more comfortable) it’s too low, once you sit in it the foam is far to too soft and it’s incredibly hard to get up from it, the fabric is already ripping, stitching is coming away and the footstool handle ripped after a few days.

If I could go back I’d never order the sofa or go to DFS again, save your money and go elsewhere, otherwise accept the disappointment

Didn't purchase from here direct but popped in to get some face to face help with a separate DFS issue relating to an online order that was going round in circles. Ellie on the shopfloor, and Assistant Manager Ali, were both brilliant and managed to get things resolved within a couple of hours. Get them in charge of wider CX for DFS, it's how it should be done. Thanks

Unfortunately I don't think DFS care about their customers, there certainly isn't any customer service, loyalty and the product is well below par. I ordered 5 pieces of furniture earlier this year, 4 pieces all needed a call out for repairs, the 5th was delivered very damaged so I didn't accept it. I've been chasing the delivery which is well overdue and the delivery date has changed yet again, only saying its the manufacture that is at fault, In this case Alexander & James furniture. DFS don't call you to update, you have to do all the leg work.
Avoid at all costs .

Would never order from DFS again. Ordered 3 sofas/footstool early Summer, delivery time was as expected, but order was incomplete. Admission by store staff at the time of delivery that the error was their doing. Was advised by Senior Staff that we would have the replacements within 4 weeks. We waited 8 weeks after chasing Customer Services several times. Fitter arrived but with only one third of the replacement order. Customer Services have now advised that the remaining part of our order will not be delivered until the end of January 2023! Very poor Customer Service.

Didn't buy anything but had a good look and lots of sitting down.
DFS had winter extra sale on, couldn't see any difference compared to other DFS sales.
Lots of staff, about 10, on hand to help, 2 asked if there was anything they could do but didn't bug you.
Surprisingly lots of good choices and prices were better than other stores close by. Will be returning this week to do more sitting.

A spacious furniture discount store with a wide variety of sofas, suites and accessories.
Friendly helpful and informative staff member assisted us and answered our questions. Plenty of parking adjacent to the store.
