Candace was amazing! We had tried a few places to buy a sofa but no luck, as soon as we entered sofology Candace was welcoming and she even shared with us her interior design advice, true 5* service, Thankyou!

Delighted with our sofa which was delivered 4 weeks earlier than expected. The whole experience from store to our living room has been great. Steve in the Farnborough store has been absolutely amazing, we would highly recommend.

We were meant to have a delivery this Sunday and we're given a timeslot of 14.15-18.15 Sunday afternoon and they arrived at 8.30am Sunday morning.

Upon delivery, our 4-seater sofa was sliced open by one of the deliverymen's box-cutters causing a huge tear about 8 inches across the front side of the left sofa arm.

The delivery man said that we had 2 options:
1- they take the sofa back and send a whole new unit

2- they leave the damaged sofa with us and send someone to see if they can repair the damage

I said that we will be paying over three thousand pounds on our order (including paying extra for a 5-year guarantee the sales people explained would include replacing the entire unit if it was damaged) therefore, we weren't happy having sofa that would require stitching on such an obvious place and that we wanted them to take it back and send a new one that was not damaged - so the delivery drivers took the sofa back.

I then phoned up customer service to explain what happened and that we wouldn't be happy to begin making payments until we are in possession of the goods we ordered and they are in an acceptable condition.

However, the woman on the phone was quite rude and very unhelpful and said that the only way to rectify it was to deliver the damaged sofa back to our house and then send a technician to reassess the damage from our house. She also said that they would still expect us to make payments and there would not be any negotiation about making payments later, despite the item not being delivered/in our possession or in the condition that we would expect.

I am awaiting a call back request from a senior member of staff as I am gobsmacked at the shockingly poor level of customer service.

It seems sofology have great customer service in-store before you place your order, and then once they have your deposit then that goes out the window.

Would not recommend this service!
