DFS Ashford

Picked a 2 seater and a 3 seater, all recliners. The recliners were a lot less deep than the original shop sofa that we tried out but wasn’t told the recliners would come less deep. When it arrived we had a problem with the top of the back on the two seater as it wasn’t the same height. When eventually we had someone look at it, all they can say is that they are handmade. Sofas look great but not comfortable, not deep like expected and after service - not great

Nice selection and the staff were great. I've been a couple of times and it's great when it's quiet but other times no staff are available and you're wandering around waiting for service or assistance and it can be quite a while to get simple questions answered.

"The manager has been instructed to give you a call regarding the poor quality of furniture delivered - this will take upto 72 hours"
72 + days passed despite repeated calls. If you go to their store, you're met with so much insincerity with regard to their apologies, its sickly. They're used to complaints and just BS you, then leave it, hoping you'll go away amd not bother. Many people get what they're buying.... in one instance I've been delivered a used return which was reported to the delivery driver on the day.... Don't trust them, they're so full of s### with the sales pitch and the warranties are flawed.

Dropped into the store to buy some new furniture with my other half the other day pleasant not to be pounced on within minutes of getting through the door we were left to browse in peace and quiet when we wished to make a purchase we were talked through the options of our new settee and armchairs everything was carefully explained with no annoying sales pitch can't wait for our new furniture to be delivered 11/10 for Sarah who was a great help

We didn't have a bad experience at DFS, we just didn't find what we were looking for. Staff were friendly enough and there was plenty of parking available.

Totally helpful and patient we took 3 hours to make a decision and the staff joke with all the time it seemed that nothing was any bother, thanks, we have been getting our furniture from d f s for about 25 years now.

My visit was completely accidentally but I loved the variety of furniture. Sales rep was polite and showed knowledge of the products and gave useful advice that made me buy some furniture.

We bought a lovely 2 person sofa in leather that reclines , I can't wait for it to arrive .
