Customer services need to get their act together and provide more staff to take calls.
I have tried on 3 seperate occasions to call. First time on hold for 65 mins. Gave up. Second time on hold gave up after 45 mins
Third and last time I'm still on hold or so far 35 mins.
Thus isn't good especially when we have jobs and lives our side of trying to contact a store for assistance.
After all if it wasn't for shoppers buying the goods DFS wouldn't be able to pay their staff.... shocking service

Poor customer service.
Delays in the processing of our order due to two mistakes on the paperwork. Then when the two sofas arrived they were different colours. Trying to contact the store was impossible. 'Customer Services' don't return your calls. After many years of being a loyal customer we will get our next one from elsewhere.

Marked sofa with wonky legs. Immediately filed a report on delivery and continuing to be told that it’ll be another 8 weeks before anything can be done, despite having 3 visits from delivery men who did absolutely nothing. This has been going on for 5 months. Useless.

Massive thank you to Lara @ DFS Chester for being an excellent representative of the team; honesty & integrity exemplified. Very happy with our purchase and the process overall, and would reccomend DFS Chester (especially Lara) to anyone looking for a new Sofa 😁

Are sofas really worth the price and hassle?
Found what looked like the perfect leather reclining chair to complement my full but ageing leather sofa at what seemed to be a sale price. However, the part I always find annoying with any purchase is the "add-ons". For x amount I could have ALL the sofa chair in leather (in other words, it wasn't originally!), for y amount go for the electronic recliner, and my ultimate pet hate, for z amount, extended insurance!!!!
Needless to say the answer was NO to all. I just wanted the basic chair for the stated price, which is what I ordered after chomping through life sapping hyperbolous paperwork.
It did eventually arrive after 4 months (well the parts did have to arrive from Saturn!), so I'm hoping it was worth the money. Time will tell....

Purchased a sofa in store stating “immediate delivery” three weeks later after two calls to Scotland both times to no avail being assured that someone would contact me with delivery date I then travelled to the store and spoke to Steve the salesman who made the sale in Chester. After he made a call he couldn’t clarify any mor details and once again I was told I would be contacted in the next day…. Two days passed still no call or contact so tried to call again no answer so left details for a call back …. After an hour or so got a call from Mark at which time I decided to cancel order Mark had no interest whatsoever in the whys or wherefore of my DFS experience and guess what I now have to wait for someone to call be to arrange cancellation and refund I would never use this company again they have a couldn’t care less attitude as soon as order is finalised Atrotious customer service

Purchased 2 sofas, cash. One was bought based on it being in the warehouse (false) and only taking a week to arrive.
The sofa delivery went well over the agreed delivery, for us then to be told it wasn't in the warehouse. After many failed deliveries it arrived and was left in packaging whilst decorating was complete, once opened it was snapped, yes snapped the wood frame was in half!!!! 12 weeks on the second sofa is due today within a 3 hour window and guess what it hasn't turned up and upon investigation apparently it has not left the depot and nobody knows the status of my delivery and to make things worse the first sofa has still not been collected or replaced.

Absolute joke and sales obviously using false claims to bag a sale and then blaming other departments, unreal behaviour and terrible company!!!!!
