No customer service from certain staff here, shocking behaviour from a female in the trainer section who completely just ignored my wife when she asked her for a trainer to try on. We understood it was busy but there’s no need to be rude and not acknowledge customers. Add more employees in the trainer section!

Today I had arrived at jd and there was a young fella called Hamza Naveed.He gave me great customer service and was very helpful and enthusiastic. I will always be coming back for great customer service again.

I don't know how JD sport hire their staff but they seriously need to sort it out. I paid £145 for a pair of trainers that were two different colours and the right hand one was more worn out than the left. So I naturally took them back and asked the manager to tell me what's wrong with these. Straight away he said they are different colours but offered no apology. I asked him why the right hand one is more worn than the left abd he told me that because it was the last pair they had to give me the one off display. The one on display had been out and tried on by probably 100s of people. Still no apology for that either. They placed an order online and the young lad told me it would take a COUPLE of days. I went back 4 days later and asked him what's the delay and that that I was told it would be here in a couple of days. His reply was the dumbest thing I heard all day. He told me that COUPLE could mean anything and no specifically 2. I told him that COUPLE always means 2. Then he went further and told me that a COUPLE that refers to 2 is only used for boy friend and girl friend, I couldn't spot laughing. I left with a smile on my face because of how dumb that was. Well six days later I now have my trainers.
Use another JD sport store if you can because this one sucks.

just had an unnessecary argument with supervisor refusing to take shoes for a return and refund.
Bought shoes a day before. Put them both on to try on in store. Never been outside with these shoes and I was told there was a mud underneeth and they can't take it back.
I said its not my fault your floor was dirty or something. So I wiped it out with my sleeve next to her and then it was accepted.

Bad expierience with this store and staff.

JD blackburn (town centre branch) seriously needs a new recruitment program and probably a new manager for allowing such poor standards.. to say the customer service at JD blackburn is awful
is an understatement. I asked a so called member of staff for a trainer size and waited fifteen minutes for them to bring them out before my patience ran out. I ended up walking out without them. The shop wasn't even busy at the time. The problem is JD just hires young college students and probably pay them £5 an hour. This results in teenagers standing around messing about and not really bothered. I cant review other JD stores as I haven't been in them but as for the blackburn branch, my advice is stay well away.

Did not go in to buy anything this time,only browsing.
Good selection of sports gear though, at reasonable cost.

Went in to get some shoes the other day and staff ignored me as I tried to talk to them and get assistance. 2 staff were having a conversation and even after I said "sorry could I ask a question?" They looked at me and then continued to finish their conversation before being very rude to me about my question. I was asking if they had my size in a particular shoe and said no what we have on display is the only sizes with an eyerole. The 2 staff were young however that doesn't excuse the rudeness. It was a boy and girl with blonde hair. Won't be returning

It took ages to get someone to serve me and my daughter. Asked several staff who were trained to say I will be with you.
Waited for 15 minutes to then be asked have you been served?
