Sports Direct

The extreme heat in the second (top) floor put me off shopping. Room temperature was over 30 degrees (+humidity), I even thought that by mistake the heating was ON but the staff told me that this was not the case. I feel really sorry for the people working up there (at least shoppers going in can run away) :( It was cooler in the street.
Apart from this "small" detail, the shop itself was nice, tidy and the staff helpful.

If I could give less than a star, I definitely would. I bought a shoe which was fine while I tried it at the store. But I could not walk more than an hour as the plastic on the side kept digging in my feet It hurt a lot and left a mark in both my feet. As I could not carry the Shoe with the Box, I did not take the box. Now after a week when I came to exchange the shoe, the guy at the counter says as I do not have the box I cannot exchange it. Really unhappy with their Services and return policy. May be there's a reason prices are cheap.

I popped into the Portsmouth store today and spoke to a guy who worked in the shoe department downstairs about some shoes I had seen online. He tried to look them up on his mini computer but couldn't find them so called over his manager. He (the manager) was incredibly rude. Couldn't care less about helping me out despite me wanting to buy 2 different pairs of shoes. He was dismissive and spoke to me like I was something on the bottom of his shoe. Really, really bad customer service.

Such rude staff. I get to the till the girl asks me if I want a bag, I say yes.. then when I take the cash out of my purse she said "oh this till is card only". Then I move over to the next till where they did take cash. The other girl puts my stuff through, I pay and she doesn't give me a bag.. I ask her for one and said back to me "oh I didn't give you one because you said no to the other girl".. It was all just so unfriendly.

Staff here are brutal.
Definitely the worse high street sports company in history.
Either the staff get paid for there misserable attitude and non existent customer service or there hired for the misserable moods they possess.
I've had one staff member that's sound the rest couldn't smile if you have them a facelift.
High street disaster.

If I could I will give 0 stars I went to Sports Direct I bought shoes for my daughter but she doesn't like it I took it back to shop for refund they said you can't get refund you have to buy something in the shop or you will get credit note but I don't want to bay anything at this time then I had to buy some unnecessary stuff I'm not happy and all the people who read my comments please careful before you buy anything from sports direct you not going to refund 🥵🥵

Sports direct, the shop everyone knows and loves. A whole bunch of cheap sporting goods in one place. Some of it is not so cheap but wait until it comes to next season. 😜 They've got a one way system in place to limit proximity to others, wasn't too busy when I went on Monday, early afternoon. 👍

I have been into this store multiple times. The shoes I got last time started falling apart after about an hour and when I went to return them. It took about 30 mins worth of arguing to be able to swap for another pair. Today however, I went to purchase some pool table triangles and I asked if I could bring them back if they weren't the correct size (would literally be 10 min) and told that I could only get a voucher or a trade....... What kind of multimillion pound company does not offer refunds for something?! Bloody pathetic!
