I wanted to buy 3 suitcases after spending £150 already I asked a member of staff if you had any more cases other then what we out,
He didn't seem interested in helping and said no there all out so I then approached the lady at the front of the store to be told that the lady's on the till would be more helpful, so I went back in the que to be told that there wasn't any and you may or may not get some inthe delivery and they could check anything to see or do anything to help, so on leaving I was telling my son I would contact the head office when Athena was arriving back off her lunch break she stopped to ask if I needed help, she then took the time to check the stock room and then advise me on what I could do to get the cases and that I could order online and collect in store or get them delivered to my home.
She was lovely and a credit to the store,
It's a shame not all your employees are trained in customer service,
Athena deserves recognition for the great job she is doing, I left feeling less annoyed then I would have.

Many thanks to the members of staff that found my boys money pouch and kept it safe for him! He had a panic moment when he realised he left the pocket money he had saved there where he tried on his new trainers. I liked the integrity and honesty from you all.

Not a great fan of SDs cramped outlets, especially with C19around. However I needed new tennis shoes & their prices are hard to beat
High praise for Troy who'd service & friendly manner was excellent. Give him a bonus MIKE!

There aren't always staff about to help but when there are they're happy to help. My only gripe is that they're always trying to get you to buy rubbish at the till by offering you all sorts of things you don't want.

The teenagers they employ on the tills are extremely rude and act like they don't want to be at work. When I worked in retail and hospitality I put as much effort as I could in. Better training and recruitment needed pronto.

The personal service from the guys serving in this store is 900% better than central southampton.

Went into Eastleigh to visit a specialist sports shop who were unexpectedly closed early on NYE. Visited sports direct who were open the expected hours and received really good customer service and walked away with my new pair of running shoes.

Sports Direct where the products are piled high and the prices are low. Everything is very good value (too good) which really does make you question is everyone in the chain being paid a fair wage (love to think they are but highly doubt it). This is a good size store easy to navigate round, and in general the staff are helpful and friendly (although I can't say any of them look like they really love their job or actually want to be there) At one point on a recent visit I waited so long that I thought I had gone to the Hard Rock Cafe in London! One member of staff serving and another folding clothes (totally understand that clothes need folding, but not sure that is something that should take place at the till, gives a poor customer service impression in my eyes). Was also lovely to hear the staff slagging off the customer who had made a comment about waiting (the very ugly side of human nature, fairly sure we all have or still do this) at the end of the day this is Sports Direct its cheap, occasionally friendly, and you can purchase a variety of items including the biggest mug in the world!
