Unfortunately there is no option to give 0 stars…

The staff of this JD Branch need to get their eyes checked, I recommend them to go to specsavers not too far from them in Stratford.

Firstly, the music is way beyond loud, the vulgar music reaches the back of your eardrums. Put that music down so that we can hear each other and remember it’s a store not an event.

I bought a pair of trainers size 6.5 and tried this on before purchasing. When I got home, they instead gave me a size 5.5 and on the box it read 6.5. Staff should have checked this before. JD, this is your staffs fault must be due to the loud music and too much chit chatting in the stock room, leading to unnecessary chaos. I have taken a photo for proof.

Please treat your shopfloor like a professional environment, not a daytime hangover club. The following day I went back in store, baring in mind there was no trains available to Stratford that day so a pisstake I had to go through due to your staffs blatant mistake. As I walked in there was staff everywhere, some helping out and majority just standing there. Two young guys saw me, one of which looked at me and as he saw me approaching me, he looked away. I said “hello” he ignored me. I said hello again more louder this time and slightly closer and then he responded. I explained my situation with the wrong shoe size and was obviously angry about it, little man couldn’t handle the pressure and said “it wasn’t me” and I said I did not say it was you. Rather than being remorseful and accountable, this staff member was being defensive. He then Directed me to the counter that was nowhere in sight, such a huge bloody store with so many staff lingering around, what harm would it have been if he took me there. I had to ask another staff member to direct me this time someone more mature and he directed me.

When I got to the counter, the lady herself couldn’t help and got another staff involved, I’m assuming the manager. I waited about 5 mins, she finally arrived and when I told her about the issue she told me to go back to the staff at the front, I was not having it!!! I said I am not going back and fourth this is your stores mistake, they sent me here now this needs sorting. I was made to wait again another 15 mins only to be said this size is out of stock. That was so disappointing and I tried the 6.5 size on the day before. I then asked for the white colour, she tried to send me back again I said nope, you go find it. I was still then given the wrong size AGAIN and by then, I completely lost it and immediately asked for a refund.

Customers, even if there was a sale going on I.e. 60% sale with banners everywhere, please don’t bother wasting your time here. Staff will say there’s no 60% off. The service is AWFUL here with such unbothered staff both young and elderly.

I cannot understand why JD Sports employ the most unprofessional people to run their stores. I understand that times have changed however, since when did customer service completely go out of the window?

Where do I start? There are so many things that were wrong with the staff in this store. The male staff seemed more interested in taunting each and behaved as though they were on holiday, not a working environment and the young ladies were no better. When I asked them a question regarding the products I was sent off to look for the item myself. When I found the item, it was out of reach, so I asked one of the male members of staff to help me get in. I was told it was a “self service store” and I should get it myself!! Even my 16 year old was shocked by what he had stated. I think the young man realised how rude he’d been and the proceeded to give me a metal hook implement to take down the items I wanted to purchase (still no help).

The staff clearly have no interest in the job they are employed to do and their attitudes demonstrate it.

Awful store. Disgraceful customer service. Visited once and, after queuing for 40 minutes to try on one piece, I was asked by the lady to leave my small possession bag outside the fitting room. I asked if I understood well and said I’ve never heard of such a policy! She replied to go somewhere else if not okay. Honestly, spend your money and time elsewhere!

Fantastic staff ..
They are happy to help...novel computer system that shows you via a computer screen if the size of the trainer you require is in stock !!!
Very snazzzy!!
I love the layout of this store esp the trainer section it feels futuristic with the lighting and the way the trainer's are displayed on the racks excellent !

I spent over £200 here, I had a tiny pouch to hold my phone and I was instructed to leave it outside the changing room on top of black metal drawer whilst I tried on some clothes as per policy (what can I steal with a 7 inch pouch, all I had were tracksuits). Whilst I was changing I could hear a staff member say maybe there’s money in there referring to my pouch. Luckily I took my phone out because when I finished changing and returned I found my pouch was moved and left unzipped. I purposely left my changing room door open to monitor . I have no doubt that if I had any credit card or money in the pouch it would have been stolen by a staff member. Luckily I was recording as soon as I heard the young male speak about money in my pouch and get berated by the female changing room attendant and I have evidence that my pouch was moved and unzipped. I will be taking this complaint up with corporate. Since the 90’s JD sports have had a reputation for hiring dodgy staff and I’m sorely disappointed that nothing has changed in 30 years. I wouldn’t have bought anything but I needed something urgently for the next day. I’m still shocked. THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED AT 18:40 8/11/22

A decent selection of sports clothing but as per most JD Sport shops it's way too hot. They need to improve their ventilation and temperature controls. Whenever I visit these stores I just can't wait to get out. However despite this it's definitely worth having a quick look if you're after any sports wear.

The new JD is much more spacious now. There’s more room to shop. It was quite busy due to the run up to Christmas. It was also fully staffed making shopping more efficient and queues much more quicker. They should put on more sales and deals.

I was made to wait for 30 minutes for trainers of the size I have requested. When they arrived, the shop assistant informed me that the pair on display was the last one available and, therefore, I was required to purchase it. Additionally, the store was overcrowded, and the crowd management was terrible.
