Runners Need Kensington

Friendly service, quite a large store. I was looking for some trainers but a few pairs didn't have my size. I chose something else instead but it wouldn't been nice if they had better stock. Also what I don't like is that they have signed me up to loads of junk emails without asking me. They asked me for my email address so they can send me the e-receipt, and for the guarantee but didn't mention anything else. They don't seem to know their GDPR!

I booked an appointment for a shoe fitting yesterday and went in and spent 45 minutes with the young lady downstairs. I must apologise at this point because I didn’t catch her name however she was excellent and thorough and explained all my options and my experience was exceptionally positive, I would highly recommend it to anyone else. I bought a pair of shoes and a fitted pair of insoles (as well as some flowery socks !) in order to help with some knee issues I had while running, it really was a great service and I can’t wait to go running this morning and try my new shoes.

Went in to find some ruining shoes. Loved a particular model but they didn’t have my size. Nils who helped me was extremely helpful and patient. He offered a lot of advice on my options. After trying at least 5/6 pairs I found something!

In this day and age when online shopping is seriously damaging our high st and local shops, shopping experiences like this remind one that we should do really try to visit real shops whenever possible.

Great friendly stuff and very supportive. Mia was very helpful in guiding me to find the right shoe and undertaking the Gait Analysis.

Currently under renovation and I almost skipped the visit as it didn’t look open.
Was directed to the outdoor store next door which seems to be the same establishment and purchased the product I was interested in.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgable on the item.

Amazing service from a bright and cheerful lady (nice red hair and with braces). She was very knowledgable, lots of useful advice for my ankle problem and helped me choose the right pair after doing a couple of gait analysis after explaining what to look for in the video clip (I'm a newbie). She told me she was new to this store, but what a great addition! Thank you (Louise? Sorry should have asked for your name - this name was on my receipt) !! Highly recommended and I'll be back soon!

However, before I was served by this helpful lady, I waited for a long time (about 5 min, took so long that I started trying on several pairs from the shelf myself) for anyone to show up. One eventually did from the stock room and another customer just turned up and grabbed him :( Maybe she has an appointment booked, I wasn't sure. I was the only other customer there. Not much interest in letting me know I'd be serve next until I asked. The shop floor wasn't huge. It would be nice to acknowledge other waiting custmers...

I would like to thank Miya for her exceptional welcome Saturday 1st may around 6:00 pm. She was able to help me choose a pair of running shoes using very precise technological measurements. She was very professional and patient. I also thank her colleague who gave very valuable advice. I highly recommend this high end sports store. there is an absolutely amazing client-seller advisor relationship. Driss
