I visited the store yesterday, as I was planning to run for the first time and needed help in choosing the correct shoes. I was served by Adam who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with my many questions
And concerns. He took time to explain the benefits of each choice of shoe and allowed me to try various styles until I was totally comfortable about my final decision.
I would highly recommend the store for choice, value and friendliness of the staff

Would be zero stars but cant select that. I bought some trainers for my partner as she couldn't get to the shops at the moment. When she tried them on they were a little too tight so she asked me to return them the next day. I was disgusted to find out that I could only get a credit note for the store as I was told I could have tried them on. I am a Male with size 11 feet and I bought a female size 6 so not sure why I would have tried them on. I paid cash 24 hours previous and recieve a credit note back when I have been made redundant not a great policy and one that will stop me returning to sports direct indefinitely.

Helpful staff, was a bit of a queue. Reasonable prices, found all that was needed.

Well stocked, quiet when I went at lunchtime on a weekday. But staff very bored. Had to wait behind a customer who they wouldn’t refund (store credit only, which I’m sure is against statutory rights, that’s what you get for buying off Mike Ashley) and then the manager walked off and ignored the growing queue

Overall a good experience here, admittedly I did go around 5:30 pm, 30minutes before closing time, so when I wanted to try clothes on, I kept getting told “we are closing in 30mins” I was like “ok well it won’t take me 30mins to try on a pair of joggers and a couple of T-shirts don’t worry” 😂 but I suppose they had to warn me just incase.

There was a guy with lots of ear piercings, who couldn’t have helped me enough, he was a lovely bloke, even though I was asking him a lot of questions he didn’t mind, and I said can I grab that shirt quickly because I know you close shortly, to which he replied “ahhh don’t worry about it”. He just wanted to help me, great member of staff right there.

A great shop for all the family. It has some great bargains including trainers, sportswear and casual wear. It has lots of equipment to keep you fit and healthy. There have a wide range of sportswear for all types of sport. There are always deals in store with many items reduced. There are womens, men and children's wear available.

I am disabled and found it very distressing trying to drive in a straight line on my mobility scooter, considering I spent an obscene amount on and off line in 24 hours you'd think a simple thing like arranging the racks along the sides allowing for people like me to navigate round the shop would be something they could look at, Jack Jones failed to get my business because of the same reason, too many obstacles. Besides that I love the bargains
