Lovely large store that has everything you could possibly need split into 2 floors.

Downstairs is all the Magazines, Newspapers, Stationery, plus the tills to pay for your purchases, and upstairs is a fantastic range of Books, Maps, Music & DVDs & Children's Books, plus there is even a small Cafe up there, serving a limited amount of delicious looking food and drinks, this store has it all!

To purchase a book that was on offer with my newspaper which was downstairs, after waiting in a queue I was told I had go upstairs to find the book but then couldn't purchase the book upstairs because their computer tills were not working, so then had to walk down the stairs and wait in the queue again on the ground floor. Not very customer friendly.

In the Post Office they recently made the manager redundant passing the responsibility to the local general manager. For the past week the fast service machines have been switched off as they've no staff to supervise them! Everyone is then forced to queue even for one stamp. Management will not authorise additional staff! Good business model eh!

Queue for the post office is terrible. The self checkouts were off. Friendly staff though! Only two people working on a busy morning!

Staff at the post office were rude and not even slightly welcoming. Depressing experience don’t think I saw a single person crack a smile. Myself and a few others actually dread going in there.

Always huge ques and not enough staff. Self checkouts closed. If you have the time to stand waiting all afternoon that ok, but no good for me as I work in Cheltenham and get an hour for lunch, I simply don't have the time.

If you have all afternoon to waste in the queue at the Post Office in this shop, its the place to be.
The staff still have the Government employee attitude and simply ignore you. The manager is non existent, but there is an older lady that helps people use the self service - I HIGHLY recommend HER and the self service booths... you'll get out before tea time!

Went back today, December 1, should not have. Even worse, ONE person on the counter and a dozen in line.... with one strutting around like she owns the place while avoiding anything that could be helpful.
Avoid this place like the plague!

Friday the 13th it certainly was in the Post Office of WHSmiths today. I counted 25 people in the queue & I waited 45 mins to renew my drivers licence. Whilst there was a helpful Manager directing customers to the self service stamp machine, the rest of us just had to wait. Why was there only 1 person serving? I won't go to this post office branch again unless I want to go for a chat with other customers & have all the time in the world with nothing else to do!!
