Small shop to get your stationary. Unhelpful attitude of a young assistant who was playing a game of stupid customer. I was only after a cello tape dispenser but could not find it. Thankfully an older chap stepped in and was very helpful.

I'd love to support the high street but only use Smith's for magazines as everything else is available much cheaper online or in the supermarket.

Mostly cheaper than Waterstones and usually has more deals, only thing is since they have put in the new post office, it seems like there isn't as many choices to choose from as before. Almost feels like they have had to downsize the amount of books they have just to fit in the post office unfortunately.

Went to post an amazon return item at the newly relocated Post office (which is now inside WHSmith), but ended up waiting in the queue for around 20 mins. There were only two desks open and one member of staff was manning the self service machines, only that no one in the queue was able to use the machines for what they had come to do. It would have made more sense to open another counter.

Good selection of magazines and books. Now has the Post Office inside which is very convenient.

I visited WHSmith today to use the Post Office that is located at the rear of the store and renew my driver's license.
The store is currently allowing in store purchases for essential items and they are following the Covid 19 guidelines to the letter. WHSmith has a vast array of items and the store is very well laid out with everything easily accessible.
The Post Office provided excellent service and it took less than 10 minutes to renew my driver's license.
All staff were friendly and helpful and also followed the current Covid 19 guidelines.

Disappointed that WHSmith no longer give NHS discount - seems it was a short term gesture during the first lockdown

use WHSmiths to get to the post office. The post office is a longer walk to the back of the shop.
