I recently stayed 3 nights in the premier inn opposite for work and the guys in here were fantastic; nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. They're a really good team and have a clear understanding of what good service looks like. It was the hottest 2 days of the year and with the sweltering heat outside my colleague and I set up on one if the table in a quiet area of the pub, Sarah and team were very accommodating; it was very much appreciated.
Great team, great service - thank you.

Housed in an old Windmill warehouse right on Gloucester Docks and within touching distance of Gloucester Keys shopping outlet.
Plenty of free parking, but dint forget to register your number plate & there is a three hour time.limit.
I went for the three course lunchtime menu which was great value for money.
Starter Couliflower Poppers with BBQ sauce, Mains upgraded to the 8oz Sirlion steak & paid extra for the Peppercorn Sauce
Desert Caramel apple Betty with hot custard
The steak was more medium than medium/rare, but accept for that all was good.
Servers where very friendly & prompt.
TOP tip If you're ordering sort during, go for the Unlimited drinks option, as you'll save a fortune especially of you're with children

Had meal deal, the meal deal was better than the others that are adjoined to premier inn, breakfast wasn't the best, it wasn't that busy just only 1 member of staff waiting on people. No pains of chocolate, bread felt like it was half cooked before I toasted it! But the service was nice at all times. Parking can be a right pain!
Upon my return I've down graded a star because some of the evening meals seemed to be a bit naff, and the the hot breakfast just all seemed dried out and again a bit naff. Service is good and staff are nice just food quality a bit poor, food just seems either under cooked or its over cooked!

Went to take daughter-in-law for a birthday breakfast with the rest of the family. Staff very attentive. Can I just say the chef Craig was a joy especially in this heat A++ also his colleague working in the kitchen. Customer service from them was great nothing was to much trouble and big smiles on there face's. So all in all a lovely breakfast

So this is just on Gloucester Quays, the staff are friendly and helpful and atmosphere is nice, they were busy all the time we were there, food was really good and hot, Bailey coffees were nice but just touch more Baileys would of been good.
This Beefeater is opposite the Premier Inn which is handy for food and drinks and just relaxing in comfort, will go again as really enjoyed.
Went again last night and meal and service really good, Staff friendly and helpful no room to fault at all and was just as busy...
Went here 16/01/2023 has table booked for 19.00 pm they seated us and eventually came and explained they were short on staff to help serve which we said was fine, but I don't understand how that can affect the kitchen with cooking all I can say is the meals were terrible, chips cold and the salad was tiny and shrivelled up. Very disappointed as out celebrating birthdays..
The waiters were good and did a good job under the circumstances..

Absolutely terrible!
We went for a birthday meal here as a family and the whole experience was so bad. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and when it came it was cold. Two of us ordered the same dish but they came with different chips and not equal portions of the meal that was supposed to be provided. One of us sent it back and had to wait another 25/30 mins for it to return. The other just eat it as had waited so long and was so hungry they couldn’t wait any longer. The portions were not worth the money at all. Paying £16 for a mixed grill you expect to get a plate full but in reality you had about £5 worth of food on the plate. The children had 3 course orders but still had to wait the same about of time for even the garlic bread starter which meant that they were so tired they had fallen asleep by the time the desserts were coming.
Staff were not bothered and showed lack of interest.
We would definitely not return at all

Went there a few times and every time we expected they will get better. Good few choices of food, staff very helpful. If you plan to eat there you will need to make sure that you have plenty of time which could be quite a long wait. When food came it was cold. I ordered a burger for my daughter she could not eat it because it was very dry and hard also French fries were very cold just like they had been left on a plate for so long time before serve.

We made the mistake of choosing to eat there and wish we hadn't bothered. The service was poor, the food was poor. I ordered salmon which arrived with skinny fries and what looked to be half a grilled tomato. It wasn't tomato, it was lemon and it proceeded to dribble juice onto my plate which was soaked up by the fries, we all know there's nothing worse than soggy fries! And to make matters worse my tiny salmon and a child size portion of fries (and half a lemon) was £16.49! Him indoors had gammon which is always a safe bet and he enjoyed it. Then we asked for the desert menu, big mistake. There wasn't a lot to choose from and I made 2 attempts at ordering, each choice was met with 'sorry, we don't have that'. I eventually landed on something they did have. So the desert arrived, I say desert because there was only one of them, him indoors scored again with the cheesecake but me, no, my 3rd choice wasn't available either!
We paid the bill and left. Even that wasn't easy because to get out we had to dodge through the crowd of around 12 people waiting to get some attention just to get a table. They had loads of tables, just no one available to deal with them. The whole thing was a nightmare, not the enjoyable experience we were hoping for.
We'll not bother with that venue again, actually we'll probably not bother with Beefeater again.
