Harlow Mill Beefeater

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. A little pricey. £50 for 2 for lunch and soft drinks. We both had a salmon salad. Perhaps if they were a little cheaper that would get more custom. 3 hours free parking, make sure you registered your car in the restaurant. Lovely walk around after. Right next to the river.

I was very unimpressed with the food big plates small portions as you can see in the photos the chips were under cooked the stake was OK the salad was a joke the mushroom was advertised as big was pretty small on to the chicken burger was dry and couldn't be finished how ever the guy serving was very pleasant hats off to him looks a very nice restaurant just a shame about the food not exactly cheap for the area I would definitely expect more for my money

Excellent location right next to the Burnt Mill Lock. A vwry good selection of drinks will keep anyone happy in the hot summer. I enjoyed the Cornish IPA.

Food is also served to an above average standard.

I have never used the hotel but it is in a good position and just a stumbling dustance away from what becomes quite a lively restuarant at night.

Nice food and good choice on the menu. All was cooked well and steaks done as ordered. Good service also.
Surf & turf was a bit of a rip off with only 2 king prawns and half a dozen small bits of calamari. But otherwise, all good...

Despite it being very busy the service was fast. Seated within 5 minutes, drinks order taken right away, food arrived 20 minutes after ordering, settled the bill in minutes. Food was good but not exceptional.

Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere. Prices average to high for the type of food. But do recommend for a relaxed evening out. Staff friendly and helpful.

Really lovely unplanned meal out when visiting Harlow. Claire our server was fantastic. Drinks arrive very quickly, with the food following shortly afterwards. My partners steak was good, and my chicken dish was lovely. The atmosphere was buzzing, and very festive. Would definitely recommend, and would return if in Harlow again. Shame they didn't have a chicken burger on the menu.

A real disappointment, was hoping to enjoy some great steak only to find a heavily reduced menu with no fillet available, service was slow seems they are understaffed . The food that we did have was also poor. Won't be going back to a beefeater again. Had the same experience in another part of the country.
