Visited Hinckley branch after I finished work, I was looking at the reduced bits when a staff member went in front of me and removed all the bits, he didn't advise me what he was doing, I wasn't finished looking I just stepped back to be polite, he moved all the stock which annoyed me as I was still looking, he didn't explain anything, I stepped back and waited patiently while he got everything, he seen me waiting and never once said what he was doing, he was taking it away to be reduced again, I later found on, just think he could of told me instead of me waiting for nothing, when I told him I was still looking before he barged in and took everything, he didn't say anything didn't communicate anything, I asked to talk to a manager and he literally walked 10 steps away still in my eye sight, then turn round and said he can't find one! And laughed at me! He had no name badge was rude and kept calling me mate! I advised him I want his mate and that I am a customer.
I found a manger and told her, I pointed him out to her and said I'd like to complain about his unprofessional behaviour, she said she would have a word with him! I asked for her name as again no name badge and declined to give me her name, basically no one wanted to know or here my concerns, really bad customer service and definitely will not be shopping here again.

Very disappointed with how I was treated today. I tried to use a bluelight card as my wife works for NHS. However, the checkout person told me it was not allowed. I accepted this and politely asked if I could talk about why I felt this was unfair to a manager. To my surprise a security guard called "Rain" turned up. A more senior checkout person spoke to me and agreed to get the store division manager. While we waited I asked why the security had been called. The reasoning was to protect the check out personnel. Confused I asked if I had been threatening or rude to which both confirmed I had not. I even offered to apologise if I had come across like that . To which they said "no your fine". Then why call security I asked?! At this point Rain said if him standing there made me uncomfortable he could move. I said he was and ask if he could. To which he refused (why offer?!). I found the hole situation a bit redicilous and over the top. I was constantly interrupted and made to feel like I was a criminal for simply trying to ask why the policy could not be extended to spouses. While this was happening some teenagers almost hit a elderly lady with some sweets. Rain did not see this happen which is a bit worrying from a security point of view.

In response to reply below which I cannot see how to reply to. I was at the trolley self checkout at 3:25pm on Monday 28th November when this conversation happened.

Is it right to dread going to the pizza counter? The women are so miserable and rude!! Its as If you are doing them a disservice ordering a pizza! I have never been looked at in such a way or spoken to so abruptly in any other store.

Hinckley ASDA may not be the biggest out there but it’s pretty much got everything you would want from a supermarket. It has a cafe, photo centre, bakery’ pharmacy and click and collect.

Stock levels can be a bit hit and miss but are generally pretty good, the price of products is also very competitive, way cheaper than Morrisons but not quite as cheap as Aldi. You can currently use you Blue Light card for 10% off if you have one.

The ASDA rewards app is excellent and offers great savings and is also kind of addictive. Plenty of parking at ASDA Hinckley.

Personal independence review assessment being conducted now and I need information about how my health issues affect me and medical evidence for treatment tests, lieing or not to them ect !
Information has been requested from gp by them and I decided to go Asda and get the printer they have on offer for £40 and print out the forms for them and give them anything right back to year dot !
End up with 63 a4 sheets printed and posting them tomorrow morning after the video assessment with them! Cost me more than the pip payment lol !

Tobacco counter is sooooo slow. Waited over 15 minutes to be served. There were 2 people in front of me. Only ever one person on. 15 minutes doesn't sound long, I implore you to stand anywhere for 15 minutes waiting. Awful. Nothing will be done about it though. Nice to vent at least. If anyone from asda is listening your slogan should be "happy to chat S*** to every customer for 8 minutes about their life story" rather than "happy to help".

*** in response to your response***

Yeah sure, Sunday to Sunday @ anytime. And anybody that happens to be serving that day. I avoid it as much as I can, I will now be avoiding it all together.

My sister today was entering asda when she slipped on the wet floor inside the entrance, and hit the floor, two kind people helped her to her feet, one I believe to be a security man with asda. She didn't report it to anyone because there was no staff around at the time, and she is one not to complain. There were no wet floor signs.
So if you are going to adsa be careful, this really upset my sister
