Ridiculous treatment by a couple of members of miserable jobsworth staff today in-store.

I have been coming to this store, (among others) over the past 3 years, even during lockdown, with the company of my parrotlet companion.

I have never once been stopped and/or told that Morty (My Parrotlet) was not welcome in-store. He is in a sealed backpack and he does nothing but bring a smile to anyone that sees him.

Today I was approached while at the checkout and told quite abruptly that he was not allowed in store, I would actually class the interaction as rude.

I appreciate store policy would be not usually to allow ordinary animals in-store for hygiene reasons ie cats and dogs, for obvious reason.

There is zero harm in Morty accompanying me in his sealed backpack, infact he is a positive addition to any place I visit with him.

Is it because he's not a paying customer?

In that case why don't you ban children to?

To the lady shop assistant who approached me with the complaint. I think someone needs to give her a hug, she is obviously sad.

A great store has a different wide range of products compared to other big supermarkets. Also lots of space in store wider Isles. Good prices and lots of discounts. Would recommend a look for people who have never shopped here.

I Had the big breakfast & my wife had the egg's & advacado on toast. My sausages & bacon was overcooked & my wife's poached egg's were very much overcooked. The staff were lovely and the service was good but we will not be returning any day soon.

Ecellent service my mother was given help in the cafe by a member of staff called Paul Blythe who was very professional and comforting towards my mother. All the staff at this Gosport store are always very helpful and kind well done to you all

Excellent staff service 👏 my mum had a bad experience in the cafe and a member of staff called Paul Blythe helped her medically brilliantly.

Excellent shop. Glad to see fish and meat counters with knowledgeable staff to help and advise. May be old fashioned but prefer counters to pre packed meat and fish. All staff very helpful and welcoming.

The cafe does a decent breakfast.
The Supermarket is well stocked with good selection at reasonable prices.
Free adjacent 2 hrs parking located at the top of the high street.

Expensive !!
I hadn't been there for a while and was shocked to see how expensive the food was !
Vegetables in Lidl's are 19p a bag, but in not Morrisons !
Even Sainsbury's are pricing veg at 19p a bag.
Not impressed
