Lidl

Very modern store with toilets, self checkout and bakery. All while keeping the prices suspiciously low on everything.

One thing I have noticed after the week it's now been open, they seem to be very understaffed in terms of restocking and just general sorting out the aisles as they're often in quite a mess.

Just things like the cardboard pallets of the products being left, not just the top ones, but about 4 layers of empty cardboard sheets/boxes just thrown about, so people can get to the actual product underneath.

Not sure why my pictures got removed either, so have reuploaded them.

Overall, is my go-to shop for pretty much everything.

One of the easiest stores to locate on Whitely. Found plenty of disabled parking bays close to the main entrance. I was surprised at the size inside and everything was bright and well set out. I found finding the items I wanted very easy as most Lidl stores are set out exactly the same. My only criticism is that I think they could have opened a second till earlier than they did. On the whole, a very good experience for my first visit to this particular store.

I love lidl I have the app, it's well worth having. You sometimes get free bakery items plus money off coupons.
Different types of food but these are the cheapest, with the cost of living being what it is, this is the best place to shop.

Nice and clean shop, friendly and helpful people. The only disappointment was empty shelfs... I was there just after 6pm.
Overall good place to buy your groceries

I liked this Lidl the best it is a new one. Very spacious with alot of offers unlike some I have been too. It is a bit out of the way but we travel to this one frequently. Car park is a good size and the aisles are very roomy. There is a KFC quite close to the store, if you fancy a take away. Recommend this one.

No small trolleys on my last two visits so will find a different store.
I don't want to push a big trolley when I only have a few bits to get can't carry a basket as I have a bad back.

I popped in to get some muffins, they were absolutely delicious, as is everything at their bakery. Whilst there I used their customer toilets and I have to say they were the cleanest I have ever used - I think I've been in less hygienic restaurants! Hopefully that's a reflection of the entire store.

You need to know your prices and be prepared to adjust your shopping list, but overall the shop is top dollar. However, I don't shop there too often as l know the layout of my preferred Supermarket and can usually complete my food shop in one go. Not so for Lidl in my experience but it's always well stocked and prices are competitive, queues at chexmckout move smoothly and there's plenty of parking. I must make sure to go there more often .........
