Asda Ferring Superstore

What a joke..... over half the tills blocked off with stock. Only two tills open, five staff wearing "happy to help" vests standing around doing very little. If you're that happy to help, open more tills!! The impression you are giving is that if you're not happy to check yourself out, don't shop here... There are other supermarkets in this area....

Thought we would grab something quick to eat today , husband ordered a breakfast. Well , the bacon was absolutely disgusting, it honestly looked like it had been cooked hours before , was rock hard and curled up . God knows how anyone could of eaten it , the beans were literally stodge . We asked for more bacon and by the time the breakfast was brought back it was stone cold. And to make matters worse the bacon was still as bad . Definitely wont eat here again. Total waste of money . Didnt even get a refund .

This is what I would call a huge store. It has lots of parking spaces and a bus stop outside. There is also a petrol station there but you have to pay by card and it doesn’t accept contactless payments at the petrol. The prices of the petrol are always very reasonable and usually are cheaper than other local petrol stations. The store is always kept very tidy and it has a cafe and clothing section. They have a pharmacy in store too with the best, most friendly staff. The shelves are very high up so you may need to ask someone to help you get some products down for you. There is always staff available to help. There is never any long queues to pay but they usually only have the self service tills open rather than people working on the tills. The staff are always friendly and always giving that extra special customer service.

I regularly buy ramen noodles from the sushi daily bar at the Ferring store as they are the only ones my daughters like but recently it has not been open & website says permanently closed. Any idea what’s happening & why it’s closed. Also is there any reason why it’s getting increasingly difficult to get all my shopping each week?, a lot of the time there’s a lot of veg & fruit unavailable & other basic items across the store seem to be depleting, can it be explained why

Love this place, one of the best superstore in the area, lots of parking, good lay out and plenty of stock on shelves, the staff are always willing to go above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for

Wanted to buy wine with my partner, we are both 30 years old. I was asked to produce an ID, I only had my NHS Courier drivers ID at the time. Karen refused to sell me the bottle because apparently in her world I could be an courier driver and be below 18 years old.

Ollie from home shopping in the ferring store is an absolute saviour!
We tried to order for collection a Nintendo switch for our son to celebrate a special Christmas for him having his diagnosis this year! Twice it had been cancelled and Ollie managed to find my order after it was cancelled electronically, called my number and kept it in his possession for us to collect at a time that suited ‘to get the Christmas present out to us’. He honestly saved our Christmas as most who tried would know these devices are sold out everywhere!

Absolutely the worst asda I have ever had the misfortune of going in. Click and collect grocery is awful, slow and it’s quicker to do it yourself. The to you parcel collection is even worse, not well organized at all. Staff are very unhelpful and rude, they swear in front of customers and the young girl on the service desk is one of the most rude people I have come across and is too busy chatting up the security guard. Avoid at all costs
