A member of staff went out of their way to cause an inconvenience when I tried to buy a single bottle of beer with my sibling that isn't of age present. Was accused of trying to buy beer for a teenager, despite us buying an entire basket of ingredients for dinner and me having ID (and being older than 25)... Would never be treated like this in M&S down the road. Was genuinely upset to be put in such an embarrassing situation in front of other shoppers.

Clearly there is a pattern as plenty of other people are noticing the staff in this branch are becoming rather rude and unhelpful.

I am familiar with this store and mostly find what I am looking for, just occasionally something is out of stock. The quality is better than other supermarkets so I get bananas here, using the money off vouchers available via the Waitrose app, making them cheaper than anywhere else.

I've never been a fan of Waitrose. But this one takes the cake. Wrong price for the wrong product. They didn't even try to be courteous and try to switch. Like they could not be bothered.

Unbelievable!!! I came for a bottle of water and was 5PM on Sunday, they were still people in still shopping. They didn’t let me in! Water!!! That’s all I wanted it! Very rude attitude

Not really sure what’s happened to this waitrose. Been coming here for years and in the last year I’ve noticed empty shelves, on a few occasions they don’t even have pints of milk, pasta section is half empty. I’m not sure if it’s down to staffing or supply chain management but it’s really gone down hill. I’d rather go to Sainsbury’s or M&S now who always have stocked shelves

I am a regular Waitrose shopper, most often at the Whetstone store. It's a kind of Goldlicks store, not too big, not too small. Usually quite busy, but parking is OK and they have new EV chargers, plus point. Recently, I've found too many items not on the shelves and too many examples of mis-stacking. Items in the wrong place or not labelled at all. Trying to buy cured meats from the special display is impossible - no items correspond to the labels below. Are you employing enough partners Waitrose? Still return week after week though!

I love this branch of Waitrose in Whetstone High Street. The shop is not too big but packed full of products and well laid out. Plus, they don't change things around constantly like other supermarkets, so a shop can be quite quick, but I also like to linger when I can as I am always discovering new produce. The staff are very friendly and helpful and some have worked there for many years! I really do recommend this branch and the car park at the back is big and easy to access.
